Taylor Swift's boyfriend meets mom

Taylor Swift has introduced her "amazing" new boyfriend Taylor Lautner to her mother.

The 19-year-old singer - who has reportedly been dating the 17-year-old actor after they met on set of their romantic comedy 'Valentine's Day' - took the 'Twilight' hunk out for dinner with her mom Andrea Swift on Monday night, sparking rumours their relationship is getting serious.

She said: "Are we an item? I don't know. He's an amazing guy and we're really close. And, yep, we're in a movie together and I'm really excited about seeing it."

The songstress is so desperate to see herself looking loved-up with Taylor on the big screen, she has begged movie bosses to let them watch the an advanced version of the film in private.

She explained to CMT Radio host Cody Alan: "I haven't seen 'Valentine's Day' at all. So hopefully we'll get to do a private screening because we both wanna see it so bad 'cause our scene was so much fun to do."

The blonde songstress recently admitted she was keen to start dating again following her split from Jonas Brothers singer Joe Jonas last October.

Taylor and Taylor were spotted together at a Los Angeles Kings hockey game last weekend.

She recently admitted: "I love him, he's so cute."

'Valentine's Day' is due for release next year.

Scarlett Johansson heading for Broadway

Scarlett Johansson is set to make her Broadway debut as a 17-year-old girl.

Scarlett will play the role of Catherine, Liev's character Eddie's niece.

In the play, longshoreman Eddie becomes increasingly obsessed with orphaned Catherine, who he is raising, but she ends up falling for another man sending him on a path of self-destruction.

Scarlett - who is widely considered to be one of Hollywood's most beautiful actresses - recently revealed the sex appeal she brings to her roles comes naturally.

The 'Iron Man 2' star said: "I don't think about being sexy or being seductive. What you don't want to see is somebody trying to be sexy. That's the most unsexy thing."

Despite having confidence in her natural sexuality, Scarlett is still shocked every time she lands a role.

She added: "It always shocks me, when I get hired for anything. As soon as one project ends you never think you will get the chance again."

'Scream' star Liev is an accomplished stage actor and won a Tony Award for his performance in a 2005 revival of the play 'Glengarry Glen Ross'.

Jennifer Connelly to quit acting?

'Creation' actress Jennifer Connelly says she may not do another film because family are her main priority.

Jennifer Connelly may never work again.

The 'A Beautiful Mind' actress - who raises sons Kai, 12, and Stellan, six, with husband Paul Bettany - admits she has no projects lined up for when she finishes filming 'What's Wrong With Virginia?'.

She said: "The biggest thing for me is wanting my kids to grow up safely and have happy lives. To me that's enough.

"The family is the most important thing to me. I'm very blessed. I have gorgeous, healthy, funny kids and a good husband.

"Becoming a mother has made all the difference in terms of learning to take responsibility for my life. Parenthood changed the way I do everything."

While both Jennifer and Paul have carved out successful acting careers, neither Kai - whose father is photographer David Dugan - nor Stellan want to follow in their footsteps.

She added to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Stellan was saying for a while that he want to be an actor.

"But we just went on holiday where we did a lot of snorkelling and now he's saying he wants to be a marine biologist. Weirdly, at exactly the same age, Kai said he wanted to be a marine biologist too."

US man who sought out Miley Cyrus gets plea deal

A 53-year-old man pleaded guilty Friday to resisting police outside the set of a Miley Cyrus movie on the Georgia coast after prosecutors dropped charges that he tried to stalk the teen pop star.

Mark McLeod, who told police he was engaged to marry the 16-year-old "Hannah Montana" star, was sentenced by a State Court judge to two years probation and was ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation. He was also banished from Savannah and surrounding Chatham County and ordered to stay away from Cyrus and her family, AP reports.

District Attorney Larry Chisolm issued a statement saying prosecutors dropped attempted stalking charges against McLeod because they lacked evidence that his "attempt to reach or follow Miley Cyrus was different than the hundreds of other fans."

McLeod of Appling, Ga., had been jailed since Aug. 4. Police said he twice came to Tybee Island, 12 miles east of Savannah, looking for Cyrus over the summer as the she filmed the Walt Disney Pictures movie "The Last Song."

Prosecutors moved quickly to resolve the case after a grand jury declined to indict McLeod on felony charges Wednesday. He pleaded guilty to misdemeanors of obstruction of a police officer and disorderly conduct. A third misdemeanor, attempted stalking, was dropped.

McLeod's attorney, James Byrne, said he was pleased the unemployed assistant plumber would finally get help for any mental problems.

"I guess he's just like an avid fan and obviously there's some delusion going on, but that's not against the law," Byrne said. "The evidence didn't show that he ever had any intention of harming (Cyrus) or her family."

Cyrus' publicist, Meghan Prophet, declined to comment on the case Friday.

Wearing shackles and an inmate jumpsuit, McLeod wasn't asked about Cyrus in court Friday. He appeared confused at times, particularly when the judge told him he couldn't use a computer during his probation.

"They could take the hard drive out," said McLeod, whose computer was seized from his home by sheriff's deputies in August. "I do use that."

McLeod was first arrested in June after police said he made inappropriate comments to young girls gathered in hopes of glimpsing Cyrus during filming. A police report said McLeod told officers he was there "to be with Miley" and tried to head butt one of them as they tried to remove him in handcuffs from the beach.

Officer Warren Millikan wrote in his report that McLeod claimed he'd sent Cyrus diamond rings and other gifts. He said she sent him "secret messages" through her TV show.

McLeod was initially released from jail but was arrested a second time after returning to Tybee Island in August. Police said security officers for Walt Disney Pictures spotted him asking residents living near the movie set if they knew where he could find Cyrus.

Jude Law's pouting baby

Jude Law's baby daughter Sophia has his "pout".

According to Sophia's mother Samantha Burke, their one-month-old daughter looks just like the 36-year-old actor and has already perfected his sultry expression.

She said: "Her features are more like Jude's. She has his chin and nose, and she does a little pout that I notice that he's done before. I think her eyes are more like mine, though. You can't always tell when they're so young but they don't seem to have that big, glassy look that his do - mine are a little smaller and more like hers. Luckily both her parents have good eyes."

The 25-year-old model fell pregnant during a fling with Jude - who already has three children Rafferty, 14, Iris, eight, and Rudy, seven with his ex-wife Sadie Frost - earlier this year after they met at a nightclub.

Samantha explained: "I instantly knew who he was, but he seemed really funny - he was cracking jokes with people and he included me in that. The next thing I knew I was on the pavement outside, being twirled around - it was a lot of fun. Following that initial meeting, Jude and I went out several times. He was a lot of fun to be around, always making me laugh.

"He's a great actor, and very good looking - you could say I was a fan. He was funny and very down to earth, which I would have expected - it was like a breath of fresh air.

"I knew that as we headed in separate directions our relationship would not continue. And I was OK with that. I was living in the moment and I really enjoyed all my time with Jude. I have no regrets."

Although Samantha is yet to introduce her daughter - born on September 22 - to Jude, she is convinced he will be a good parent.

She said: "He's a great father to his three kids. She's his daughter, and I believe he'll come through. I mean, once you see her face, how can you deny it?

"It would be great if we can have a friendship and be cordial.

"Hopefully, he'll be a big part of her life and she'll be proud of him as her father."

Timberlake gets restraining order against woman described as celebrity stalker

Court records show Justin Timberlake has been granted a temporary restraining order against a woman his attorney described as an obsessed stalker.

A Los Angeles judge granted the “SexyBack” singer a protective order against Karen J. McNeil on Friday.

Timberlake’s attorney describes her in court filings as a “mentally unstable celebrity stalker.” The papers state McNeil was placed in protective psychiatric custody by police after she trespassed at the singer’s home earlier this week.

The filings indicate it’s the third time the 48-year-old woman has showed up at Timberlake’s home and that she may be homeless.

Attempts to find a phone number for McNeil were unsuccessful.

The judge will consider whether to grant a three-year restraining order at a Nov. 9 hearing.

Singer Leona Lewis punched during UK book signing

A young man punched singer Leona Lewis in the head as she signed autographs and posed for photographs at a book signing session in central London on Wednesday, her spokesman said.

Stuart Bell said Lewis, 24, had been meeting members of the public at Waterstone's book store in Piccadilly in central London for about 90 minutes when a man from the line came up and hit her. He was immediately led away by security guards and later arrested by police.

Bell said Lewis, who was launching her new autobiography "Dreams," was shaken up by the incident and went to see a doctor as a precaution.

Lewis shot to fame after winning the "X Factor" reality show in 2006, and her powerful voice has led to comparisons with Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston

London's Metropolitan police said a 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and is being held in custody.

Woman pays $140K for kiss from Charlize Theron

How much is a kiss with big screen beauty Charlize Theron worth? Apparently, about $140,000 to one lucky woman.

The Oscar-winning actress took part in the OneXOne charity event on Thursday night in San Francisco, where she took the stage to auction off a two-week trip to her native South Africa to watch soccer’s World Cup in summer 2010.

While the trip itself was a nice prize, the winning bidder also received other extra item for her $140,000 donation – a liplock with the Oscar winner.

And the woman certainly got her money’s worth — the two embraced and kissed onstage for nearly 25 seconds.

Charlize was at the event to help raise money for the Charlize Theron African Outreach Project, which is teaming with the OneXOne Foundation to bring soccer fields and clean water to the children of South Africa by 2010, which is when the World Cup will be hosted there.

Other celebrities on hand at the event included Jeremy Piven, Josh Groban, Carlos Santana, Laila Ali and David Arquette.

At one point during the auction, Piven also jumped onstage and encouraged two guests to bid $140,000 each for a walk-on role on the hit HBO show, “Entourage.”

The OneXOne gala was supposed to be hosted by Matt Damon, however as previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, the actor was forced to pull out of the event due to a family emergency.

Proceeds from the auction will benefit various organizations worldwide aimed at improving and preserving the lives of children.

Katie Holmes chooses Suri school

Katie Holmes has enrolled her daughter in a Catholic school.

The 'Thank You For Smoking' actress reportedly infuriated Scientologist husband Tom Cruise with her insistence that three-year-old Suri attend the Catholic Charities Yawkey Centre For Early Education And Learning in Boston, Massachusetts.

A source close to the couple - who are living in Boston while Tom shoots his latest movie 'Wichita' - told the Mail Online website: "Katie has been listening to her parents who are devout Catholics.

"She is not convinced by Scientology and has told Tom that she wants Suri to be educated as a Catholic - as she was.

"They had been having huge problems agreeing on her school. To say they were having arguments it putting it mildly - but Tom came around to the idea in the end."

Katie has reportedly not been seen at the Church of Scientology for more than five months.

Tom was raised Catholic but converted to the bizarre sci-fi cult in 1990.

Kidman: Hollywood probably contributes to violence

Actress Nicole Kidman listens to testimony before the House International Organizations, Human Rights and Oversight Subcommittee hearing on violence against women on Capitol Hill in Washington, Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009.

Nicole Kidman conceded Wednesday that Hollywood has probably contributed to violence against women by portraying them as weak sex objects.

The Oscar-winning actress said she is not interested in those kinds of demeaning roles, adding that the movie industry also has made an effort to contribute to solutions for ending the violence.

Kidman testified before a House Foreign Affairs subcommittee that is considering legislation to address violence against women overseas through humanitarian relief efforts and grants to local organizations working on the problem.

Asked by Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, R-Calif., if the movie industry has "played a bad role," Kidman said "probably," but quickly added that she herself doesn't.

"I can't be responsible for all of Hollywood but I can certainly be responsible for my own career," she said.

Kidman appeared before the committee in her role as a goodwill ambassador for the U.N. Development Fund for Women, known as UNIFEM, to promote the International Violence Against Women Act.

"In the real world, the laws go unenforced and impunity is the norm," she said.

The legislation has stalled in the past, but a sponsor, Rep. Bill Delahunt, D-Mass., said he and others plan to reintroduce it soon.

The Australian star told Congress that the U.N. women's fund needs more resources. "We need the money," she said.

Before the hearing began, a crowd of people lined the hall and around the corner to hear her speak.

Robert Pattinson on how James Dean influenced Edward Cullen

Robert Pattinson has revealed that Hollywood legend James Dean served as one of his inspirations for his character in the “Twilight” franchise.

”‘Rebel Without A Cause’ was a big influence on the first [‘Twilight’ film],” he told USA Today. “It influenced the hairdo and stuff.”

And although the love story between Bella Swan and Edward hits a snag in the upcoming film, “New Moon,” due out on November 20, the overall story arc is similar to one of James’ most famous roles.

“In lots of ways, it has a very similar character arc: An everyday girl brings this relatively strange individual out of his slump,” he said.

While everyone seems to know his name now, Robert revealed he used to get called by his character’s moniker.

“Right at the beginning, everyone just called me Edward,” he said. “I don’t really mind either way. There’s something about that character that, for some reason, has sparked an interest in massive degrees in so many different people.”

With the campaign for “New Moon” continuing to build and Robert’s star getting brighter, he continues to be a paparazzi target.

“I’m not entirely sure what it is,” he said of the fame that’s come with playing Edward. “I’ll probably realize afterward how I could have controlled it a little bit more. But I am still like a deer in headlights.”

Megan Fox covers nylon October issue

We have seen a lot of Megan Fox in revealing dresses recently, however, the 'Transformers' star seems to be back to her natural state with these attires she has worn for Nylon's October issue "It Girl."

This 23-year-old actress told the magazine, "I think that I'm really overexposed. I was part of a movie that [the studio] wanted to make sure would make $700 million, so they oversaturated the media with their stars, I don’t want to be in magazines every week and on the Internet everyday. I don't want to have people get completely sick of me before I’ve ever even done something legitimate," according to Just Jared.

Ziyi: In love as always

Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi and her fiancé Vivi Nevo watch a fashion show in Milan, Italy on September 26, 2009.

Zhang Ziyi's romantic relationship with multi-millionaire Vivi Nevo may have undergone twists and turns, but the latest photos of the lovebirds prove that love is continuing between the Chinese actress and her fiancé.

A number of photos dated September 26, 2009 have emerged on the Internet, showing Zhang and Nevo watching a fashion show in Milan, Italy, their hands clasped.

This was the first time the high-profile couple was spotted together in more than four months, according to China News Service. Previously, Nevo was seen accompanying Zhang to film festivals worldwide.

Chinese tabloids are calling the couple's Milan appearance a "dramatic reunion".

Zhang, who launched an international career after playing the lead role in Ang Lee's Oscar-winning 2000 film "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon", began dating Vivi Nevo in 2007. She was engaged to the major Time Warner shareholder last year.

However, as fans were expecting to see Zhang tie the knot, in June this year Nevo suddenly announced a postponement to the planned August wedding, citing busy work schedules as the reason.

Zhang then returned to China promoting her latest film, a romantic comedy entitled "Sophie's Revenge". Not wearing her engagement ring, she told Chinese media, "If I were married, I would want to spend the rest of my life with my husband, just like my parents do. Although divorce is not the end of the world, I suddenly felt scared."

The remarks aroused wide speculation that Zhang's relationship was already on the edge. The actress however denied such rumors, saying "everything is alright."

The postponed wedding is still pending, though the pair avoided questions about a wedding date in Milan.

Kanye West, Lady Gaga tour canceled

Kanye West’s tour with Lady Gaga has been canceled.

“Live Nation announced today that the Kanye West and Lady Gaga ‘Fame Kills’ tour has been canceled,” the tour promoters said in a statement to Access Hollywood.

No details were available to explain the cancellation.

The three month-long trek was set to begin on Sunday.

Last month, the rapper interrupted 19-year-old Taylor West as she accepted her Best Female Video award at the MTV Video Music Awards. A day later, while on “The Jay Leno Show,” the rapper told the host that he planned to take a break.

“I need to, after this, just take some time off and analyze how I’m [going to] make it through the rest of this life, how I’m [going to] improve and because I am a celebrity and that’s something I have to deal with,” Kanye previously told Jay. “And if there’s anything I can do to help Taylor in the future or help anyone I like, ‘cause you know, I [want to] live, this thing is hard.”

Katherine Heigl's awesome baby

Katherine Heigl's husband thinks their adopted baby is "awesome".

Musician Josh Kelley gushed about Nancy Leigh - a 10-month-old Korean girl with special needs he and Katherine adopted earlier this month - during a concert on Ohio on Friday night (18.09.09).

On the verge of tears, Josh shouted: "We adopted a baby from Korea, me and my girl, and she's awesome, dude! This girl is the bomb!"

Earlier in the week, Josh sung a song he wrote about the baby - nicknamed 'Naleigh' - at a performance at Miami University.

It included the lines, "Just to see you in mommy's arms is all I need."

Katherine, 30, was "thrilled" to welcome Nancy into her home, revealing she has wanted to adopt a Korean baby since she was a child.

She said: "It's been a big part of my life and my family. My sister is Korean and my parents adopted her back in the 1970s and so I just always knew that this is something I wanted to do.

"I just wanted to make sure that I was marrying a guy who understands that this was going to have to happen. Not everybody is down with that, not everybody thinks that."

Sky-high lover Tom Cruise

Tom Cruise "excels" at sex.

The 'Wichita' actor made the admission when he was asked about his performance during an appearance on a US talk show alongside his co-star Cameron Diaz.

Host Jay Leno asked: "I know you're a pilot, what are you better at - flying or sex?"

Clearly embarrassed by the question, Tom began squirming in his seat before joking: "You know what, I don't know. Having sex with me is like flying, Jay. I try to excel in all areas and I've never been asked for a refund, so I don't know."

Tom was equally as mortified when Jay quizzed him on his weekend habits.

Asked if he ever visited strip clubs, Tom went bright red and replied: "Actually I never have been, ever. Sorry to disappoint you."

Sensing his embarrassment, Cameron tried to calm the situation down, adding: "It's kind of hard to be Tom Cruise and go to a strip club, you guys seriously!"

Tom responded: "I swear, if I went I would say, 'Yeah Jay, of course I went.' "

John Travolta 'threatened' by paramedic

John Travolta claims a paramedic threatened to blame him for his son's death unless he handed over $18 million.

The 55-year-old actor told a court in Nassau, in the Bahamas, yesterday (30.09.09) that paramedic Tarino Lightbourne said he would accuse John of killing 16-year-old Jett unless he was paid the huge sum. Travolta claims Lightbourne threatened to "imply that the death of my son was intentional and I was culpable in some way".

Lightbourne and his attorney Pleasant Bridgewater are jointly accused of attempting to extort and conspiring to extort by means of threats, charges they both deny. Travolta has previously told the court how he attempted to save his son's life after he suffered a seizure at the family's Caribbean home on January 2, 2009.

He told the jury: "I was awakened by my son's nanny pounding on the door saying Jett was unconscious. I ran downstairs to help my son with my wife. I saw him on the bathroom floor.

"His other nanny Jeff Kathrein and a woman employee were doing CPR. I took the place of the woman. Jeff was doing compressions and I was doing breathing. I asked if an ambulance had been called and I was told, 'Yes.' " Travolta said a defibrillator was used until paramedics arrived about 40 minutes later and Jett was then put on a gurney.

He said: "I spoke with the ambulance driver and asked him if he would take us to the airport." It had previously been claimed in court that Travolta refused medical aid for Jett and wanted him to flown back to the US for treatment. Eventually a paramedic at the scene asked a senior police officer to witness the signing of a "refusal of medical attention" form, which was signed by the 'Pulp Fiction' star.

When the judge asked Travolta if he read the document before signing, the actor said he did not. He added: "Because time was of the essence." Travolta confirmed he had wanted Jett flown to a Florida hospital but it was not made clear why the plans were changed and Jett was taken to the island's Rand Memorial hospital instead of the airport, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. The trial continues.

Britney Spears' sweet splurge

Britney Spears spent $3,000 on candy in one afternoon.

The 'Womanizer' singer splashed out the staggering sum at the Sugar Factory, which is located inside Las Vegas' Mirage hotel, which she visited with sons, Sean Preston, four, and three-year-old Jayden James, and boyfriend Jason Trawick on Sunday (27.09.09).

A source said: "She spent about $3,000 and walked out of the store with 10 bags. She got a bunch of candy and shirts for her kids and got a bunch of the couture lollipops to give to her back-up dancers."

Among the items Britney, who was in Las Vegas for the final US show of her 'Circus' world tour, bought were a box of Sugar Factor milk chocolate and 25 $25 lollipops.

After paying for the items the store sent another $2,500-worth of candy to Britney's room at the Mirage.

Britney pulled out all the stops for her final American show.

Barry Manilow and pop star Lance Bass were in the audience, and Britney spiced up the routine to 'Breathe On Me' by singling out Lance for a sizzling lap dance.

She also performed at Las Vegas' Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino on Saturday (26.09.09), as former Spice Girls star Mel B and 'Hannah Montana' actress Miley Cyrus looked on.

Kristen Stewart on ‘The Twilight Saga’: I take Bella ‘to the next level’

“Twilight” fans who think they’ve seen it all should get ready for more, according to franchise star Kristen Stewart.

In the October issue of Interview magazine, the star told interviewer Dennis Hopper – in a conversation conducted before the actor’s recent hospital stay – that she’s taking her character up a notch.

“Usually, at the end of a film it’s like I’ve finally gotten to know this person completely, and then we’re done,” Kristen explained. “That actually happened on the set of ‘Twilight,’ and then it happened again on ‘New Moon.’ Each time my character Bella [Swan] became a different person, and I got to know that person and take her to the next level.”

But with millions of fans of the books and film franchise waiting to see where the movies will go next, Kristen said being Bella isn’t easy.

“I have a responsibility… to everyone who has personal involvement in the books—and now that spans the world. It’s an insane concept,” she said. “All of these girls who are fans personally feel like they encapsulate that character. So it’s like, ‘How the hell am I going to do that for all of them? It’s impossible!’ But I’ve decided, if you’re just unabashedly honest all of the time, you have nothing to be ashamed of.”

With filming in progress for the third installment, “Eclipse,” Kristen said that though the movies are filled with vampires and werewolves, they could’ve gone even darker.

“The movies aren’t that dark, as much as we’d all have loved to have made those films,” she said, explaining that they had to connect with fans of every age. “You always have to realize that the story needs to make sense to the 11-year-olds who read the book and aren’t necessarily going to be viewing a scene as foreplay. But then there is the other segment of the audience—a large percentage—who does see the scene as foreplay. And it’s pretty deep, heady foreplay. So it’s fun to play it both ways.”

Being in the public eye – and the tabloids – has been less fun for the actress, who said she spends most of her nights in her hotel room.

“The only way for me not to have somebody know where I went the night before is if I didn’t go out at all. So that’s what I’m trading. It depends what mood I’m in,” she said. “Some nights, I think, ‘You know what? I don’t care. I’m just going to do what I want to do.’ Then the next day I think, ‘Ugh. Now everyone thinks I’m going out to get the attention.’ But it’s like, no, I actually, for a second, thought that maybe I could be like a normal person.”

The next installment in “The Twilight Saga,” “New Moon,” hits theaters on November 20.

Madonna races away from marriage

Madonna would rather "get run over by a train" than marry again.

The 'Celebration' singer - whose eight-year marriage to movie director Guy Ritchie ended in December - has dispelled rumours she is planning to wed her 22-year-old boyfriend Jesus Luz and claims marriage is the last thing on her mind.

When US talk show host David Letterman asked about possible future nuptials, she replied: "I think I'd rather get run over by a train." However the 51-year-old star - who has daughter Lourdes, 12, son Rocco, nine, and adopted children, David and Mercy, both four - admitted there are some aspects of married life she misses.

She said: "Being a single parent means you're kind of in charge of everything. You can't say, 'Hey, can you give the kids a bath while I do something else.' There's no job sharing." The pop star - who was previously married to actor Sean Penn - also revealed she looked like a "fool" when she appeared on David's show in the 90s because she had smoked a "joint", a slang term commonly used for a cannabis-laced cigarette, before the interview.

She said: "I think I may have made a fool of myself once or twice on your show. But it wasn't that I was excited about you. I think it may have had something to do with the joint I smoked before I came on. But I didn't inhale so it doesn't count really!"
