Internet dater Rihanna

Rihanna uses the web to keep in touch with her boyfriend.

The 'Rude Boy' hitmaker and her baseball player lover Matt Kemp chat online when she is away on tour to keep the spark alive in their romance.

Rihanna - who is currently in Paris, France, on the European leg of her 'Last Girl on Earth' tour - told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I'm really happy right now. It's an amazing city. I love it. It would have been so cool if he was here. I was hoping he would be able to come to London but he's working. And I'm touring and shooting videos for my next single so it's going to be seven weeks before I see him again.

"We have to make do with Skype and phone, but I miss him. And this is the most romantic town. I can't wait to see him again.

"It'll probably be when I get back to America that we can hook up properly."

The 22-year-old singer also revealed she now has a doctor on the road with her monitoring her injured ribs.

Rihanna - who suffered the injury while performing in Zurich, Switzerland - said: "One thing knocked something else out and it went on from there. I went to hospital just to check it and it's OK. I have a doctor on tour now to watch out for me."

The 'Umbrella' singer seems to be falling for hunky Matt and recently admitted she is having a lot of "fun" with the sportsman.

She said: "It's new, and it's fun, and it's nothing too serious, you know. I don't want anything that's going to take up so much of my energy and time right now in a bad way. I just want to have fun, and that's what it's about."

Speaking in a behind-the-scenes interview for Bazaar TV, she said: "I don't tend to enjoy photo shoots, they're my worst nightmare.

"I don't like being pampered all day, you know the fluffing of the hair, the pulling on the dresses and the make-up. Although this one (Harper's Bazaar) has been one of the most fun shoots I've done."

To help her overcome her nerves, Cheryl, 26, puts on Beyonce Knowles' music to inspire her when she is on a shoot.

Referring to Beyonce's on stage persona Sasha Fierce - which her 2008 album, 'I Am... Sasha Fierce', was named after - she explained: "I find I can't really connect with the camera, it's something I'm still learning to do. I tend to put a lot of Beyonce on when I'm doing photo shoots - I channel Sasha Fierce!"

Beyonce has described her alter-ego as a more confident version of herself.

The 'Halo' singer said: "I have someone else that takes over when it's time for me to work and when I'm on stage, this alter-ego that I've created that kind of protects me and who I really am.

"Sasha Fierce is the fun, more sensual, more aggressive, more outspoken side and more glamorous side that comes out when I'm working and when I'm on the stage."

Rihanna's ribs are ready

Rihanna has promised her UK fans she will be fine to play despite her rib injury.

The 'Russian Roulette' singer damaged her side during a recent show in Zurich, Switzerland, but she is feeling good and her ribs are on the mend.

She told the London Evening Standard newspaper: "I've had a few injuries, and one thing made another worse.

"Eventually, I had to have it checked out. My ribs are still hurting, but I will be raring to go by London."

Rihanna, 21, was originally treated for the ailment at the Hirslanden private clinic.

The 21-year-old pop star is currently in Paris, France, on her 'Last Girl on Earth' tour and is then heading to Germany for a second bout of concerts in the country.

She then travels to Luxemburg before flying over to the UK and Ireland for a number of dates.

Rihanna's tour is her most ambitious yet and features a number of costume changes and rigorous dance routines.

She said: "We've never done a tour to this capacity. The production is unbelievable and so are the costumes, we just took it to a whole new level. We just keep growing."

Leona Lewis gets Bull 'buzz'

Leona Lewis drinks Red Bull to get a "buzz".

The 'Bleeding Love' singer doesn't drink alcohol because she doesn't enjoy the taste and instead chooses to gulp down the strong energy drink when she goes out clubbing with friends.

She told InStyle magazine: "I don't drink. I haven't for years it tastes like hairspray to me - I can have a great time without alcohol. I don't need that to get me up on the dancefloor, I'm there already. I'll sometimes have a little Red Bull. That's my little buzz."

Leon is outspoken about her dislike of booze and has previously branded people who need to get drunk to have a good time "ridiculous".

She said: "I find some people's attitude to drinking ridiculous. I think it's so funny that people think you have to drink in order to have fun. It's such a stupid mindset! A lot of my friends are like, 'I need a drink to get on the dance floor!' I don't need that 'help me to relax' thing. If I'm around my friends then I can really relax and have a good time, that's all I need."

Kim Kardashian's pillow rear

Kim Kardashian's bottom is like a portable "pillow".

The US reality TV star - who is famous for her curvy derriere - lent her rear end to younger sister Khloe

Kardashian when she needed a nap mid-way through a launch party recently.

Writing on her blog, Khloe said: "At one point I got really tired, so I had to take a nap on Kim's booty. It really does make the best pillow."

Khloe explained she was desperate for some rest because of all the work she'd been doing recently.

She added: "These long days are killing me!!! LOL. (sic)"

Kim's bottom was recently praised as being "like a water bomb."

The brunette beauty invited Australian talk show host Chrissie Swan to grab her rump in order to prove its authenticity live on television, prompting her to compare it to a soft, water-filled balloon.

Referring to her behind, Kim said: "While I've been here, a few people have asked if it's real, so you can grab it if you want."

Chrissie duly obliged and proclaimed: "It's juicy and real! It's like a water bomb. "

Kim questioned: "Maybe a little too juicy?"

However, 29-year-old Kim has claimed her backside isn't actually that large.

She said: "My butt is probably not as big as you might think, because I have small legs and a small waist, which makes it appear bigger."

Gene Simmons bigger than Mickey Mouse

Gene Simmons says his band Kiss is more famous than Mickey Mouse.

The long-tongued bassist with the glam rockers - famous for their black and white painted faces - claims the band's image and merchandising are more successful than any other group in history and instantly recognisable.

He told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: "You don't know how big the image is. By some experts, it is believed to be the most recognised pop culture image on Earth - even above Mickey Mouse.

"You know, there's no U2 comic book, there's no Mick Jagger action figure. We have our own Visa card. You can go into Wal-Mart and get sweets with our faces on. We have a Dr Pepper soft drink campaign now. It's unbelievable!"

Gene, who does not drink alcohol, and his bandmate Paul Stanley put the success of the 'Love Gun' group - which, in its present incarnation, also includes guitarist Tommy Thayer and drummer Eric Singer - down to their hard work ethic and anti-drug stance.

Paul said: "When everyone started talking about sex, drugs and rock and roll, I was saying, 'You keep the drugs, and I'll take the sex and the rock and roll.' "

Kendra Wilkinson wants pals for son

The former Playboy model - who is married to American Footballer Hank Baskett - is desperate to arrange some play dates for four-month-old Hank Baskett IV now he is growing more aware of people as he currently only has the family pets for company.

She said: "He's starting to lift his head and really look around...He's so smart. He mimics.

"He's starting to notice the dogs; he's like 'What are those?' I really want to start to find other babies he can be around. I don't want him thinking that he's a dog."

Kendra already has an idea of someone she wants Hank to befriend - Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick's son Mason, who is also four months old.

When asked which celebrity baby she wanted Hank to hang out with, Kendra told Us Weekly magazine: "Kourtney's! Of course! Baby Mason."

Kendra, 24, also spoke about how motherhood has tamed her sense of adventure, revealing she and Hank recently dropped out "at the last second" from a shark diving expedition while holidaying in Hawaii.

She said: "We looked at each other and thought, 'Is it worth it? What if we don't come back?' We want the baby to always have parents! You know what I'm saying?

"I'm not living for myself anymore, you know? I'm living for him. For the baby. I want to make sure every step of his way is with love and trust. It totally changes your life."

Gemma Arterton praises 'fit' Jake

Gemma Arterton thinks Jake Gyllenhaal is "fit".

The British beauty - who stars alongside the handsome actor in upcoming adventure movie 'Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time' - admits she was attracted to her co-star, but not as much as her fiance.

Gemma said: "Jake was a very, very funny guy. He's really nice. He's quite serious when it comes to his work. He works hard and he is a perfectionist. But he likes to make jokes and he's fun. He's funny. And he is fit, of course.

"But I'm engaged. Contrary to popular belief he's not a stuntman. Everyone thinks he is but he's not. He is a bounty hunter. I can't tell you. He may work for the secret services!"

Speaking about her secret fiance - who was rumoured to be stuntman Ben Cooke - Gemma says she won't get a pre-nuptial agreement.

She said in an interview with British station Radio 1: "The other day I was out in a bar and a lawyer came up to me and said, 'Are you engaged?' And I said, 'Yeah', and he said, 'I do good pre-nups.' What about trusting people?"

Schwarzenegger for president? He would if he could

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger would love to run for president — if he could.

California's actor-turned-governor was born in Austria and the U.S. Constitution prevents foreign-born citizens from holding the nation's top job.

Jay Leno asked Schwarzenegger on "The Tonight Show" Thursday if he would make a White House run if the law was changed.

Schwarzenegger replied, "Without any doubt."

But that's not likely in the foreseeable future. Any amendment to the Constitution must be approved by two-thirds majorities in the House and Senate, and then be ratified by three-fourths of state legislatures.

Schwarzenegger spokesman Aaron McLear says the governor doesn't think that will happen.

Shakira visits Phoenix over tough immigration law

Colombian singer Shakira visited Phoenix on Thursday, meeting with the city's police chief and mayor over concerns that a sweeping new state law cracking down on illegal immigration will lead to racial profiling.

The Grammy winner met with the officials to learn more about how the law will be implemented if it goes into effect this summer.

The law, signed Friday by Republican Gov. Jan Brewer, is viewed as the toughest on illegal immigration in the nation and has drawn criticism from President Barack Obama, who questioned its legality. The law makes it a state crime to be in the U.S. illegally and directs police to question people about their immigration status if there is reason to suspect they're illegal immigrants.

"Shakira is deeply concerned about the impact of this law on hardworking Latino families," said Trevor Nielson, the singer's political and philanthropic adviser. "She is coming to Arizona to try to learn more about how law enforcement is reacting to this new law and how we can ensure that people in the state of Arizona are not being targeted because of the color of their skin."

He said Shakira canceled other commitments to make the visit and also planned to meet with Hispanic families in Phoenix to see how they'd be affected by the law.

Nielson said Shakira also sought to meet with Brewer during her visit to Phoenix, but that the governor's director of scheduling told Nielson it wouldn't be possible because the governor was booked.

The new law thrust Arizona into the international spotlight last week, with civil rights leaders and others demanding a boycott of the state, and the Mexican government warning its citizens about an "adverse political atmosphere" in Arizona. At least three Arizona cities are considering lawsuits to block the law, and there are two efforts to put a referendum on Arizona's November ballot to repeal it.

Supporters of the law say it takes the handcuffs off police and is necessary to protect Arizonans, while opponents say it will lead to rampant racial profiling.

Shakira is perhaps best known for her nimble dance moves and songs including "Hips Don't Lie" and "She-Wolf," but recently she has become more active in political and social issues.

She visited earthquake-ravaged Haiti earlier this month, expressed her support for Cuban dissident group Ladies in White and has worked as a UNICEF goodwill ambassador. Her Barefoot foundation provides nutrition to more than 6,000 children in Colombia, and she is a member of the ALAS foundation that advocates for children across Latin America.

Last month, the U.N. labor agency gave the singer a medal for her work to help impoverished children.

Edgy dresser Victoria Beckham

Victoria Beckham likes dresses with a "certain edge" to them, according to Julian J Smith.

The fashionista was recently spotted wearing a distinctive, colourful number by the up-and-coming designer and Julian believed it suited her style perfectly.

He said: "That dress is very 'visual'. It says, 'Look at me', but not in a vulgar way. It's cute, flattering and has a certain edge to it.

"Victoria had heard about my collection so she asked to see a selection of pieces."

Reality TV star Olivia Palermo also donned the dress and Julian was thrilled to see two stars showcasing his design.

He told vogue.com: "I really think she looked great, I love the way she mixed it up with textures and a statement necklace.

"Olivia went into a store in New York called Debut where my collection is currently exclusively stocked in the US, she saw it and loved it.

"I didn't know either of them were definitely going to wear it. You never really know until you see the pictures."

Another celebrity Julian has worked is Beth Ditto and he is keen to team up with her again.

He said: "I made really cool outfits for Beth Ditto last year and she's a real inspiration, I definitely want to dress her again. For me, clothes and fashion are hugely important, but being involved in the creation of an image or a 'look' is very important and satisfying."

Sexiest woman Cheryl Cole

Cheryl Cole has been voted the Sexiest Woman in the World.

The Girls Aloud beauty - who separated from her soccer player husband Ashley Cole in February following his alleged infidelities - is still a favourite with the men of Britain after winning the top spot for a consecutive year for FHM's 100 Sexiest Women in the World poll.

The 26-year-old singer - who is also a judge on UK TV talent show 'The X Factor' - beat 'Transformers' actress Megan Fox and Victoria's Secret model Marissa Miller into second and third place respectively.

Colin Kennedy, Editor-in-Chief of FHM claimed the "nation's sweetheart" was an obvious winner for this year's poll.

'Twilight' star Kristen Stewart was the highest new entry, being voted into sixth place, while Kelly Brook jumped 41 places from her position last year to take seventh spot.

Ricky Gervais returns to Globes

Ricky Gervais is returning to host the Golden Globe Award in 2011.

The British comedian will present the prestigious ceremony, which recognises the best in TV and film, for the second time next year - despite mixed reviews for his performance in January - and has vowed to go all out to upset producers.

He joked: "I suppose it is flattering, to be honest, and it was a surprise. I had so much fun last year.

"I'm going to go out all this time. I'm going to make sure they're never going to invite me back. I can't believe they invited me back after awful things I said. Let's see how far I can take it this time."

Audience members winced at last year's awards when the 'Office' creator joked about Mel Gibson's previous alcohol problems and Sir Paul McCartney's expensive divorce from Heather Mills.

However, President of the Golden Globes Philip Berk says he is delighted to see him return.

He said: "We are thrilled to have Ricky back as the host of the Golden Globe Awards. His combination of wit, irreverence and spontaneity makes him the ideal host. He was fantastic last year, and he'll be even better the second time around."

Next year's Golden Globe Awards take place on January 16.

Robert Downey Jr's drug movies

Robert Downey Jr. would need a "tuna melt" in order to film movies when he was high on drugs.

The 'Iron Man 2' actor - who had several stints in rehab to treat his narcotics addiction - between 1996 and 2001 - admitted he tried his best to hide his problem and carried on working even after taking vast amounts cocaine and heroin.

He said: "It used to be that you could throw me out of the back of a party van on to the set, give me a tuna melt, and I could function."

The 45-year-old star - who was arrested in 1996 after a two-day cocaine binge - also opened up about how "wrecked" he was at the time.

He recalled to Rolling Stone magazine: "It's about noon. I'm feeling ready to go back home to Malibu. I had to be careful with the car. There's a firearm in it. I'm wrecked. I see this cop who pulls me over, and it was many felonies."

Downey - who is married to producer Susan Levin - was recently praised for the way he has fought back from addiction to transform his career by 'Iron Man 2' co-star Mickey Rourke.

Mickey said: "I'm so happy with what's happening with him because usually if you have problems with drugs you end up like a garbage can. I can't think of many people who have made it back like he did, because he didn't have a little drug problem, he had a big drug problem."

Brendan Fraser loved Furry fat

Brendan Fraser enjoyed getting fat for his new movie.

The actor had to pile on the pounds for his role in 'Furry Vengeance' and admits it wasn't hard for him to gorge himself for his career.

He said: "I don't know the number of pounds I gained because, in my real life, I don't step on scales. I don't believe them. I'm like, 'You're a liar.'

"I needed a bigger butt on account of there was going be a lot of physical comedy. I get thrown around a lot in the movie. But let's just face it, it's funny. Kids love it. Adults love it. They're like, 'Ha-ha, look! Brendan Fraser has gotten fat.' "

The 41-year-old star is struggling to shift the excess weight since shooting finished, and his love of pizza isn't helping his cause.

He added: "I still need to get closer to the StairMaster to lose that paunch. I'm doing pretty good, though. Once you get there, it's not easy getting back. Even though I did it for comedy, that's not an excuse for the fact that I love to jam pizza down my throat just as much as the next guy. I'm gonna be 42 in December, and I can't just stop living."

In the movie, Brendan plays a real estate developer trying to bulldoze a forest but runs into trouble when the woodland creatures who live there have other ideas.

Kelly Osbourne can't marry

Kelly Osbourne's mother Sharon won't let her get married.

The 25-year-old star insists she and her model fiance Luke Worrall, 20, won't be tying the knot anytime soon, much to the delight of her outspoken parent.

In an interview with Barbara Walters on her Here's Barbara Sirius XM radio show, Kelly - who got engaged to Luke in early 2009 - said: "I have no intentions of getting married anytime soon, and neither does he... I don't want to be married until I'm 30. My mom won't let me get married anyway."

Surprisingly, Kelly even suggested the couple's engagement may not end in a wedding, despite their strong feelings for one another.

She added: "Only the future will tell. Only time will tell. We don't actually live as an engaged couple."

Kelly - whose dad is rocker Ozzy Osbourne - also admitted she only agreed to get engaged to Luke because she didn't want to spoil their relationship by saying no when he popped the question.

She explained: "I said yes just to say yes, and that's the truth... to tell him no I felt would ruin our relationship. Then, after the first year, I started to realise, maybe I really do want to marry."

Sharon has previously stated she thinks her daughter is too young to be engaged.

She said: "They're both very young. But I get it if you want to make a commitment to somebody. Luke's a nice boy. He's a harmless, nice boy."

Leona is in a relationship with Lou Al-Chamaa - who she has been dating for five years since before she was famous - and insists she would always choose her man over her career.

She said: "I love music but, of course, I'd choose love over that. For me, love is happiness and inspiration. But I mean the love of my life and the other love of my life go hand in hand."

Leona insists she is really happy with Lou but doesn't like to talk about her love life.

The 25-year-old pop star added: "I always try to maintain my private life. My

During an appearance on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' to air today (28.04.10), she revealed: "I don't do it because my teeth are so white and I don't like them to feel too slippery but I do use Listerine and I do floss everyday. But I don't brush them every day.

I need a little coating."

Despite her sporadic dental hygiene, Jessica is adamant she always has pleasant smelling breath.

She added: "I know it's gross but I always have fresh breath. It's really weird but I have great breath."

The 29-year-old singer also revealed she is on the lookout for a new man and insists a guy doesn't have to be famous to date her.

Jessica - whose exes include John Mayer, Tony Romo and former husband Nick Lachey - said: "They definitely have to understand my life and what I put up with and what I deal with. Being scrutinised publicly... that can definitely make or break a relationship and you have to have that strong foundation... so I have to have somebody that understands that kind of lifestyle."

Julia Roberts named "world's most beautiful" by People

Julia Roberts topped the list of People magazine's "World's Most Beautiful People" on Wednesday, marking the 12th time that the "Pretty Woman" star has appeared in the annual special issue.

Roberts, 42, the mother of 5-year-old twins and a 2 year-old son, is joined by Halle Berry, Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Lopez on the 2010 list.

Garry Marshall, who directed Roberts in her breakout role as a prostitute with a heart of gold in the movie "Pretty Woman" 20 years ago, said she was "as beautiful as ever."

She's much more centered and calm now and not so stressed. She is quite the mom -- very nurturing," Marshall told People.

Roberts, who won an Oscar in 2001 for her lead role in "Erin Brockovich", will be seen next in August in the movie "Eat, Pray, Love" based on the best-selling book of the same name by Elizabeth Gilbert.

Ashley Greene, 23, who plays a vampire in the "Twilight" hit movie franchise, was among the newcomers to the widely-read list that annually is a measure of celebrity status.

While Roberts appeared on the cover of the People magazine special edition, other celebrities were not ranked but included Jennifer Aniston, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Bradley Cooper, Johnny Depp and Patrick Dempsey.

Last year's title was awarded by People magazine to actress Christina Applegate, who had previously made public her battle with breast cancer and double mastectomy.

The 'Blind Side' star has also started divorce proceedings against her husband Jesse James - who is alleged to have had multiple affairs while they were married.

Tattoo model Michelle 'Bombshell' McGee went public with her 11-month affair just 10 days after Sandra won the Best Actress Oscar.

Speaking about the legal separation, she said: "I'm sad and I'm scared."

Although Sandra and Jesse started the adoption process four years ago together, the Hollywood beauty will now be the sole guardian of Louis - who was born in New Orleans.

The tot is named after late singer Louis Armstrong, who was also born in New Orleans, because Sandra had his hit 'What a Wonderful World' in her head when she first laid eyes on him.

It was reported last week, the actress was getting ready to start divorce proceedings against the 'Monster Garage' host.

A source said: "It's over between Sandra and Jesse. For a while, it looked like she was going to forgive him, but not now. Way too much has happened and after spending time alone, Sandra has realised that she deserves better. It's not going to be easy but she's an amazingly strong lady."

Kim Cattrall's movie horror

Kim Cattrall hated looking "f***ed up" on the set of her new movie 'Meet Monica Velour'.

The 53-year-old actress - best known for her role as maneater Samantha Jones in 'Sex and the City' - plays an ageing prostitute in the film, and admits she did her best to avoid seeing herself on screen.

She said: "Most of the time as an actress, you want to look desirable, you want to be pretty, you want to be sexy, you want to be lit properly - whereas there were days when I didn't even have any make-up on.

"There were days when they actually changed the light to make me look harder and more overweight or just more f***ed up. I didn't see the dailies on it because I thought, 'You know, I've made a stand here that I'm gonna do this in a very truthful way, and if I look at them they might scare me.' "

Despite her worries about the way she looks in the Keith Bearden-directed movie, Kim believes she was totally detached from the character, not even recognising herself when she saw the film.

Kim - who gained 15lbs for the role - added to New York magazine: "I felt the movie was very truthful, especially the strip scene: She's not in her body. When I first saw the film I was in a bit of a shock because I didn't see myself. I couldn't find my spirit. Mine. Kim's. I felt it was so totally someone else, and a lot of it was really scary to look at."

Josh Hartnett's Abbie date

Josh Hartnett is reportedly dating Abbie Cornish.

The actor - who has previously been romantically linked to Kirsten Dunst and Mischa Barton - amazed fellow guests at Channing Tatum's 30th birthday party on Saturday (24.04.10) by spending the majority of the evening with the Australian beauty.

The pair arrived together for the private dinner at Macao Trading Co. in New York, where they retreated to a back corner table for most of the night.

A source told the New York Post newspaper: "They turned up after midnight... they definitely looked like a couple."

Josh and Abbie's appearance together comes less than a week after they were seen enjoying an intimate dinner at a New York restaurant.

Other guests at the party, which was hosted by artist and Dactyl Foundation founder Neil Grayson, included Channing's actress wife, Jenna Dewan, and his 'Son of No One' co-stars James Ransone and Ray Liotta.

Abbie has been single since February, when she and long-term partner Ryan Phillippe - who she had been dating for just under three years - ended their relationship.

Courtney Love makes Gavin affair claim

Courtney Love claims she had an affair with Gavin Rossdale.

The Hole singer - famed for her erratic behaviour - insists she bedded the former Bush frontman for eight months after he married Gwen Stefani in 2002.

Courtney - the widow of Nirvana star Kurt Cobain - told US Radio DJ Howard Stern: "We had a really good time. I even had visions of marrying Gavin Rossdale one time.

"Everyone gave me so much s**t because Gavin sounded like a lot like Kurt. But man, he was such an Adonis in his day! He got good in bed... something happened. Maybe Gwen taught him, for all I know."

Courtney claims Gwen - who has two sons, Kingston, four, and 19-month-old Zuma, with Gavin - was aware of the affair.

She said: "Yes. She does know."

When Stern then asked: "You mean he was having sex with you while he was with her?"

To which Courtney replied: "Everyone... yeah... and a few other people. We didn't have a lot of pressure on each other, but we did like each other quite a bit."

Gwen - who was said to be "devastated" when DNA test results in 2004 showed Gavin was the father of British model Daisy Lowe, following a brief fling with her mother Pearl Lowe - and the 44-year-old rocker are yet to comment on the allegations.

Dolce model again Madonna

Madonna will front the new campaign for Dolce and Gabbana, it has been confirmed.

Speculation had been rife the 51-year-old singer would be the face of the Italian duo's autumn/winter 2010 womenswear range, following the success of her adverts for the fashion house last year, and now Stefano Gabbana has spoken of his excitement.

He tweeted: "Madonna.....she's always the BEST!!!! I'm going on the set of the woman campaign... The shooting is going very well!!!!...She's beautiful....Love this!!! (sic)."

Speaking from the campaign's headquarters in New York, he added: "A lot of paparazzi during the shooting!!! (sic)."

Madonna's favourite photographer, Steven Klein, is thought to be shooting the adverts.

As well as appearing in last year's campaign, it was recently revealed she is to design a collection of sunglasses which bear the letter 'M' on the arm.

Gabbana said: "We're so excited. This further strengthens our relationship with Madonna, and it was a very constructive experience for us. She is very exacting and a professional who seeks perfection in everything she does, and this was no exception."

Madonna will also star in the advertising images for the eyewear line, which were shot by Klein and will be released next month to coincide with the launch.

Kristin Davis' punishing exercise

Kristin Davis is dripping in sweat when she finishes her workouts with Tracy Anderson.

The 'Sex and the City' actress hired the celebrity trainer - who was worked with Gwyneth Paltrow and Madonna - to get her in shape and while she's pleased with the results, she admits it's extremely hard work.

She told People magazine: "I mean, it's a hard workout. I pour sweat. Every piece of clothing I have is wet when we finish. It sounds a little gross."

The 45-year-old beauty hired Tracy - whose regime includes a tough two-hour workout - after realising her last form of exercise wasn't working for her.

She said: "I didn't realise, but I had been developing my abs kind of outwards. We don't want that!"

As well as taking care of her figure, Kristin - who plays the immaculately dressed Charlotte York-Goldenblatt in the 'Sex and the City' TV shows and movies - recently admitted she has to be careful with what skincare she uses because her skin is so sensitive.

She said: "I use Ahava skincare, which is natural line from Israel and is made from minerals for the Dead Sea. I have the most sensitive skin. If you just look at me wrong, I break out in blotches! So I have to be really careful with what I put on my face. I try and focus on being really healthy, too. I don't drink and I don't smoke, which helps."

Eyewear ambassador Rachel Bilson

Rachel Bilson has been named the first eyewear ambassador for Sunglass Hut.

The stunning actress has long been a fan of shades - pictured wearing everything from wayfarers to aviators - which has led to her appointment as the eyewear brand's style director.

She told WWD: "I was very flattered when Sunglass Hut approached me to do this. I can't say what makes me a good style adviser for them, but I am a huge sunglasses addict. I don't leave the house without a pair."

Rachel will front the company's advertising campaigns and also write a trend blog for the company as well as hosting online chats and video podcasts with people in the fashion industry.

Fabio d'Angelantonio, CEO of Sunglass Hut, explained his reasons for choosing Rachel.

He said: "We wanted a symbol of our philosophy, somebody who's familiar and relevant to our target consumer, but at the same time was herself sunglasses obsessed."

Rachel's first interview will be with designer Tory Burch, and she is also hoping to meet Karl Lagerfeld at some point in the future, as he is another huge fan of shades.

Of Karl, Rachel noted: "He's an icon and he wears sunglasses at all times."

Justin Bieber's fan stampede

Justin Bieber's fans knocked over his mother as they mobbed him at a New Zealand airport last night (27.04.10).

The Canadian teen sensation was rushed through the terminal building to escape hoards of screaming teenagers, who stole his hat as they stampeded.

He later tweeted: "Finally got to New Zealand last night. The airport was crazy. Not happy that someone stole my hat and knocked down my mama. Come on people."

'Baby' singer Justin's mother wasn't hurt when she was knocked over, and later tweeted fans to say she was OK.

She wrote: "Thanks for all ur support!! I'm ok thank you!!!(sic)"

Police told the singer to axe plans to sign autographs and take pictures with fans amid fear the crowd would get further out-of-control, prompting many of the waiting group to burst into tears.

However, most of the waiting supporters were just delighted to have caught a glimpse of their idol.

Fan Tory Shaffett said: "Oh my god, he was so amazing and beautiful. I can't believe I saw him."

Justin later implored fans to calm down or face other signing opportunities being scrapped.

He tweeted: "I want to be able to sign and take pics and meet my fans, but if you are all pushing security wont let me. let's keep it safe and have fun. (sic)"

Hoards of teenage fans also forced the cancellation of a scheduled appearance by the 16-year old star in Sydney, Australia, earlier this week.

Police reported "mass scenes of hysteria" and 10 girls fainted as they waited through the night to watch their idol perform. Paramedics treated the injured on the scene, and the worst injury was to one fan who fractured their kneecap.

Miley Cyrus' call shame

Miley Cyrus ruined an emotional scene because she couldn't bear to be parted from her mobile phone.

The 17-year-old actress - who portrays troubled youth Ronnie Miller in 'The Last Song' - admits she was "embarrassed" when her most touching on-screen moment was interrupted by her communications device ringing in the middle of filming.

She said: "The funniest scene was also the saddest. Ronnie visits her terminally-ill dad in hospital and is struggling to hold back the tears. It was absolutely silent on set and suddenly my mobile phone goes off playing 'Don't Worry Be Happy'.

"I'm just so anxious about losing my phone I always have it with me. That was quite embarrassing, but also absolutely hilarious."

Despite the unprofessional disruption, Miley - who is best known for her role in Disney TV show 'Hannah Montana' - claims she's intent on pursuing a serious acting career.

She said: "I've always wanted to act, even though the critics don't seem to be very enthusiastic about my first serious role. I know I've done my best and that's the main thing."

It was while filming the drama that Miley fell in love with her co-star and love interest in the movie, Liam Hemsworth, 19, but the Australian actor admitted he wasn't aware of her celebrity status before they worked together.

Liam told website Bunte.de: "Miley is a huge star in Australia and I was probably the only one who had never heard of her before. Only when I arrived on set and saw all those fans and photographers I realised how famous she is."

Biker Jack Osbourne

Jack Osbourne has bought a new super-bike.

The 'Adrenaline Junkie' TV star - the son of rocker Ozzy Osbourne and 'America's Got Talent' judge Sharon - has a need for speed and has splashed out thousands on a Ducati 848.

His sister Kelly said: "My brother Jack loves motorbikes and last week he bought a Ducati 848. He is so proud of it. Jack and I are the same like that - we get so excited about new things."

Although Kelly and Jack's parents were able to shower their children with gifts due to their wealth, the 25-year-old beauty insists she and her siblings - which includes sister Aimee - were never spoilt.

She added to Closer magazine: "We know that we've had overly privileged lives but our parents have always taught us to never take things for granted."

David Beckham wants soccer star sons

David Beckham wants his sons to be soccer players.

The former England captain would love his boys, Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, seven, and five-year-old Cruz, to follow in his footsteps and has revealed they are keen soccer, American football and basketball players.

He said in an interview with 'Good Morning America': "They're really into playing soccer, but they're also into playing other sports. Now, obviously, living in the US, they're playing football, they're playing basketball, baseball. They're talented little boys, but, whatever they want to do, it doesn't matter... but it'd be great for them to be involved in sports, because it's such a great thing."

David and wife Victoria Beckham are also keen to add a fourth child to their family.

In another TV appearance made by David on 'The View', the former Spice Girl, who was in the audience, said: "I think one day, if we're blessed to have more children, it would be amazing. It's a lot having three boys. So, we're just enjoying the boys at the moment. But who knows, one day?"

David, 34, revealed his sons have settled into Los Angeles life and are doing well at school.

He said: "We've got a great family base. We've got an amazing three boys, and we protect them with every ounce of energy that we have. They're just three little normal boys who are enjoying school. They're really happy."

Kelly Osbourne's weird sober fun

Kelly Osbourne found going to a festival sober "weird".

The presenter - who has been in rehab three times to be treated for an addiction to prescription drugs - insists she found California's Coachella festival much more enjoyable without consuming alcohol and narcotics, but admits it took some getting used to.

She said: "It was a bit weird being totally sober at a festival, and the first day it took a bit of getting used to.

"In the end, it was way better because I saw so many more bands and explored the festival more than I would have before. The standout acts for me were Gossip, Gorillaz and Jay-Z."

Kelly had a particularly "brilliant" time at the music event because so many of her British friends had an unexpected lengthy stay in California because of the disruption to air travel caused by the Icelandic volcano.

She added in her column for Closer magazine: "It meant that all my London friends who came over to Los Angeles for Coachella were trapped here!"

Broody Alicia Silverstone

Alicia Silverstone can't wait to become a mother.

The actress - who married musician Christopher Jarecki in 2005 - recently had to wear a pregnancy fat suit for her part in the critically acclaimed Broadway play 'Time Stands Still', and admits it made her feel broodier than ever.

She said: "Wearing a pregnancy suit was so much fun. I loved the feeling of pretending to be pregnant and having little arms and legs and this big belly.

"I've been wanting to have a baby since I was two years old - I'm destined to be a mother. I can't wait to be pregnant."

Despite her eagerness to fall pregnant, 33-year-old Alicia - who stars in the new comedy 'Butter' alongside Jennifer Garner - cited a busy work schedule as putting her plans on hold.

Speaking of her work on the movie, which is being shot in Shreveport, Los Angeles - she told People magazine: "It's an interesting place, but you're working so much, so it's not like you're on vacation."

Alicia is also set to star in the upcoming comedy 'Vamps', directed by the 'Clueless' writer-director Amy Heckerling, and said it was "crazy" to be working with someone again who helped make her famous 15 years ago.

She said: "I was a baby when we met. It's crazy how long ago that was. Now it'll be great to be a grown-up and work with her."

Tito Ortiz arrested, accuses partner of drug use

Mixed martial arts star Tito Ortiz claims his ex-porn star girlfriend is addicted to Oxycontin, and he's blaming Jenna Jameson's drug use for his arrest on suspicion of domestic violence.

Ortiz was arrested Monday morning in Huntington Beach at the home he shares with Jameson and their twin sons. Several hours after posting bail, Ortiz and his attorney accused Jameson of being a drug addict and claimed Ortiz never struck Jameson.

Ortiz is a former UFC light heavyweight champion whose celebrity has eclipsed his MMA accomplishments in recent years. He wept openly at the hastily arranged news conference in North Hollywood.

Attorney Chip Matthews says Ortiz found drugs in their home, leading to the confrontation that ended with Ortiz's arrest.

Ticket winner Heather Mills

Heather Mills won Whitney Houston tickets in a radio phone-in.

The charity campaigner contacted British station Heart FM Sussex on Saturday (24.04.10) to try and get her hands on two pairs of £110 tickets to the 'Million Dollar Bill' singer's show in London on Wednesday (28.04.10).

Heather called into Paul Hayes' show and was randomly selected from dozens of hopefuls to be put through live.

Describing herself as "Heather from Hove" who was "just about to take her dog for a walk", the 42-year-old blonde successfully identified the missing word to a Whitney song to win the tickets.

Heather then screamed: "That's wonderful. Thank you so much. I can take my girlfriend. I'm really excited."

Despite saying she was taking a friend during the call, Heather has now claimed she wanted to win the tickets for an ex-partner's 82-year-old mother.

Heather - whose former husband is Sir Paul McCartney - tweeted: "Whitney Houston sold out, called Heart FM for a laugh to try and win tickets for my ex's 82 yr old Mega fan Mum and WON, SHE IS SO HAPPY xx (sic)"

DJ Paul Hayes admits he didn't realise he had a celebrity on the line until afterwards.

He said: "It suddenly clicked - the accent, the address she gave me and, of course, the name. It just shows you never know who is out there listening."

Heather was awarded £24.3 million in her divorce settlement from Paul in 2008, but recently claimed she had given away most of it to charity.

She said: "Most of it's been given to charity, gone into ethical businesses or paid for a couple of properties for my daughter's future security. I could never sit with millions of pounds in the bank that could make matters change."

Anna Paquin's brother excited about wedding

Anna Paquin's family are delighted she is marrying Stephen Moyer.

The actress' brother, Andrew Paquin - who directs the couple in new movie 'Open House' - has grown increasingly close to her 40-year-old fiance and is thrilled at the prospect of his pal becoming his brother-in-law.

Andrew said: "I absolutely approve! Steve will be an amazing husband to Anna and a great brother-in-law.

"She's in very good hands. Steve's a lovely man and a really great guy. He's become a very good friend. Everything is great and I'm really happy for them."

The 33-year-old filmmaker thinks the couple are well suited and believes their adoration for one another is clear to everyone to see.

He added to People.com: "They have amazing chemistry together on and off the screen. There's something special going on, and they understand and respect each other.

"They are certainly in love and very good to each other and very kind to each other. That's important."

Despite being close to Anna, 27, Stephen was nervous about working on 'Open House' with her.

He confessed: "It was fantastic. but I was nervous because she's such a good actress.

"We only had two days together and it was my first time directing and I wanted to do a good job. But she made my life pretty easy as a director. She knows her lines perfectly and she understands her character."

Avatar's James Cameron pushes tech careers to young

'Avatar' director James Cameron urged young Americans Monday to pursue careers in science and technology to keep the United States at the forefront of technical innovation -- and allow him to make more blockbuster movies.

Science, technology, engineering and mathematics, or STEM, "are where this country has to continue to lead," Cameron said at the US finals of the 8th Microsoft Imagine Cup, where students presented projects they developed that use technology to fight global problems.

"We can't fall behind in that area. We need engineers, we need innovators," Cameron said, adding that 'Avatar' would not have made it into cinemas without innovative technology developed by Microsoft and the out-of-the-box thinking of a young team, average age 23, who put the technology to work in the movie.

The Imagine Cup aims to inspire young people to use their talents and technology to do everything from making movies to saving the planet, Microsoft chief research and strategy officer Craig Mundie said.

"Whether you're trying to make Avatar or trying to solve the carbon problem in the atmosphere you want to have powerful teams enabled by these technological tools," Mundie said.

Cup participants have to develop projects that use technology to make a difference in the lives of people in their local communities and around the world, addressing issues of education, healthcare and environmental sustainability.

Eighty students out of a starting field of 22,000 made it to the US finals of the competition with projects that dealt with everything from pollution to pediatric illness to poverty.

The winner of the software division -- a project called Mobilife, by students at the University of California, Davis -- will travel to Poland in July to compete against teams from more than 150 nations in the world finals of the Imagine Cup.

Mobilife uses the Windows Mobile platform and computer-assisted microscopy to allow doctors who work without the benefit of the facilities of a modern hospital -- such as field doctors in sub-Saharan Africa -- to detect vascular diseases in children, including diabetes, hypertension and sickle cell anemia.

The game design division was won by a game called "Sixth", which raises awareness of global poverty by putting players into the skin of a child in a slum in India who has to battle his way past obstacles to collect water for his family.

"Sixth" was developed by students at the two-year Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) in North Carolina, who beat out academic big hitters like Ivy League university Yale to take top honors in their division.

Cameron singled out "Sixth" -- the name refers to the sixth of the world's population that lives in poverty -- for praise, saying it "puts the player into another human being's reality and triggers a compassionate response and a call for action."

Avatar aims to do the same, but with a message about saving a planet that is being destroyed by unchecked development and human greed.

Imagine Cup competitors are to Earth what the nature-loving Na'Vi and their human avatar allies were to the planet Pandora, said Cameron.

"These young leaders are so inspirational, they are going to be the warriors for the Earth and are going to save us," he said.

Will Isenhour, a 33-year-old graphic artist who is studying game design part-time at CPCC, was part of the team that created "Sixth".

"James Cameron specifically gave us the nod," he told AFP.

"I'll have to put this on my resume and drop him a line.

"I have a pretty crappy job right now so if anybody's hiring, I'm available," he said.
