Taylor Swift's perfume inspired by love
Taylor Swift's fragrance Wonderstruck was inspired by falling in love.
The pop star has collaborated with Elizabeth Arden to create her first perfume and Taylor revealed the name came from her song 'Enchanted' about meeting a special someone.
She told WWD: "I share personal life experiences through my music, and my fragrance will allow me to share these experiences with my fans in a completely different and new way. Falling in love is a moment every girl daydreams about and Wonderstruck represents that magical feeling of promise and hope and intrigue. It was fascinating to learn that you can layer so many different scents to create a beautiful end result."
The new scent -which will be rolled out worldwide over two years starting in September - features freesia, green tea, apple blossom, raspberry and dewberry and Taylor likened choosing the scent to planning an album launch.
She said: "Writing songs is a process unlike anything else, and I'll never experience anything like it. However, coming up with ideas for this fragrance and the packaging and message of it reminded me of what it's like to plan an album launch. You come up with a theme that represents all these tiny moving parts, a sum of all the planning and creating. Then it goes out into the world and becomes a part of people's daily lives."

David Beckham to be a delicate dad
David Beckham is learning to be more "delicate" with his newborn daughter.
The soccer star and fashion designer wife Victoria - who already have three sons, Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, eight and six-year-old Cruz together - welcomed little Harper Seven into the world on Sunday (10.07.11) and he admits having a girl is different to having boys.
In a video on his Facebook page, he said: "To have another girl in the family is really incredible. We've got three beautiful, healthy boys already and we're so lucky to have that and now to have a beautiful little girl, it's amazing.
"Having a daughter is a whole new thing. Having pink in the house and lilac in the house. And you have to be a lot more delicate with girls than with boys and I'm not used to that so it's a whole new experience but it's an amazing experience. To have that little bundle of joy and your hands and her making her little noises and opening her eyes - it really is an incredible moment for us."
The British athlete - who wore the number seven on the back of his shirt for many years - also spoke about the reasons behind Harper's name.
He said: "A lot of thought goes into our children's names and Harper was a name we've loved for a long time for a couple of reasons.
"One is them was because Harper is an old English name which we loved and one of the other reasons is because Victoria's favourite book is 'To Kill A Mockingbird' and the author was Harper Lee. And it's a very strong passionate book so that's where Harper came from.
"And Seven is partly because of the shirt number I wore for many years because I had so much luck around wearing that number and it was such an influential number throughout my career and a lucky number but that wasn't the main reason. The reason behind Seven is that it symbolises spiritual perfection and is a lucky number around the world. We love the name. We love Harper Seven and we're very proud of having her in our family."

Renee Zellweger dating Stamos?
Renee Zellweger is reportedly dating John Stamos.
The Oscar-winning actress - who split from Bradley Cooper in March - and the former 'Full House' star were spotted enjoying a romantic trip to Disneyland in California on Monday (11.07.11) and onlookers say they were smitten with each other.
On told Us Weekly magazine: "They looked really close and both very happy. They were trying to stay under the radar but were having a great time laughing and dancing as they walked from one ride to another."
Renee, 42, split from 'The Hangover' star Bradley in March after dating for almost two years, leaving many people surprised as it had been reported they were set to wed.
Renee has also dated Jim Carrey and Jack White while she was briefly married to country singer Kenny Chesney, a union which last less than six months.
John was married to actress Rebecca Romijn for 10 years, although they split in 2004 and she went on to marry Jerry O'Connell, with whom she has two-year-old twins, Charlie and Dolly.

Billy Ray Cyrus had 'vision' Miley would bring 'hope'
Billy Ray Cyrus had a "vision" that his daughter Miley could bring hope to the world.
The 'Achy Breaky Heart' singer originally christened the star Destiny Hope Cyrus which he felt reflected the way she would go on to live her life.
Asked if he would stop her pursuing fame if he had another chance, he said: "This was Miley's dream. This was her - I believe to touch people's lives. Through her music and her life. I still believe that. You know, her name was originally Destiny Hope, I had given her the name before she was born because I had a vision. I felt it was her destiny to bring hope to the world.
"When I see her selling out arenas around the world or on her TV show, making people laugh, bringing families into the living room together, we always, you know, try to put positive messages in each episode if we could. And, you know, I do think that she - this is her purpose - her path."
Billy Ray believes his 18-year-old daughter - who got her name Miley from adapting her childhood nickname 'Smiley' - is making a positive difference in the world with her "humanitarian" endeavours.
In an interview on CNN's 'Piers Morgan Tonight', he said: "I think she's a natural born singer/songwriter/entertainer. She's a great actress. And she's got a lot to offer the world. She's the real deal. What you see is what you get. I mean, she's for real.
"And, you know, she ain't perfect and I sure as hell ain't, you know. I mean, none of us are. But Miley really, really has a good heart. And she loves people. She loves music. She loves entertaining. There's a lot of things that Miley does that I wouldn't go into right now on a humanitarian basis. But Miley is a great humanitarian. She really cares about her fellow man, and people, and the planet and animals."

Katie Holmes given strength by Suri
Katie Holmes didn't realise her own inner strength until she became a mother.
The 32-year-old actress - who has a five-year-old daughter, Suri, with husband Tom Cruise - was "surprised" at the depths of her feelings which surfaced when she first became a parent.
She said: "I think a tremendous amount of strength is revealed when you become a parent that you didn't know you had, and a tremendous burst of love that you didn't know you were capable of feeling and giving.
"Both of those things are a surprise and they're the best."
The 'Don't Be Afraid of the Dark' actress believes being a mother has made her more insightful and Katie says she recognises any sign that Suri is upset immediately.
She said: "Any child in peril means something different to me now I'm a mother.
"You go on alert and you know the sound of your own child's voice and cry immediately.
"Being a mother only gave me more insight. When you're a parent, you can't turn things on and off. It's kind of like you're raw."
Katie took Suri on to the set of 'Don't Be Afraid of the Dark' but because it is a horror movie, she made sure the scenes to be shot each day were suitable for the youngster to see.
She added in an interview with Britain's OK! magazine: "I would only have Suri there when it was obviously lighter scenes."

Cheryl Cole planning second honeymoon
Cheryl Cole and ex-husband Ashley are reportedly planning a second honeymoon.
The couple - who divorced in 2010 after he was revealed to have had a string of affairs - are to take a romantic holiday to South Africa with the blessing of Cheryl's mother Joan, who is beginning to warm to the idea of them reuniting.
However, the 28-year-old singer's ex-boyfriend Derek Hough - who dated her following her break-up with Ashley - is said to be upset they are visiting Africa, where he took her twice last year.
However, their trip ended badly as Cheryl caught malaria during the break and was hospitalised with the potentially fatal disease upon her return to the UK.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "It's a kick in the teeth. The poor man has been unceremoniously dumped by Cheryl and now she and Ashley are off to Africa which Derek used to call 'their place'."
Initially soccer player Ashley wanted to take her to the Caribbean but Joan intervened, suggesting Africa would be a wiser choice.
The source added: "When he mentioned taking her away to Jamaica, Joan said it was a good idea.
"But she said he would be better off choosing somewhere like South Africa because she knows Cheryl loves the place.
"Joan appears to be warming to Ashley again - for the time being."
Last week, Cheryl headed to Los Angeles with her Girls Aloud bandmate Kimberley Walsh for some time away.
A representative confirmed: "Cheryl is taking some time out as she said on her website last month."

Rihanna takes up belly dancing
Rihanna has taken up belly dancing.
The 'California King Bed' hitmaker is being given lessons in the exotic art by a professional dancer from Mexico in a bid to keep in shape - and friends would not be surprised to see some of her new moves turn up on the European leg of the singer's 'Loud' tour in September.
A pal of the Bajan beauty told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "She loves belly dancing and has been getting all her dancers to join in. They've even had a few private Arabian-themed parties.
"We shouldn't be surprised to see a little of this influence when Rihanna goes on tour later this year."
Belly dancing appears to be a more conventional way for the 23-year-old singer to keep fit, but Rihanna - who is currently on her 'Loud' tour in the US - has previously revealed she stays in shape by "walking for miles" through airports when she is going from place to place playing gigs.
She said: "I keep fit by walking through so many airports. You end up walking for miles in those places!"
Rihanna also has another reason for getting fit because she is looking for a man, recently explaining she wants a guy who will "earn" her love.
She added: "I'm open to love. But guys should have to earn it. Because the minute they get it, they want something else.
"Men are like hunters; they like the chase. So you have to keep 'em guessing. Actually, I'm like that too. I get bored quickly. So if someone can make me laugh, that's the best."

Natalie Portman names son Alef
Natalie Portman has named her baby son Alef.
The Oscar-winning actress and her fiance, choreographer Benjamin Millepied, have named their first child - who was born last month - after the first letter in the Hebrew alphabet.
According to Israeli TV Show 'Good Evening with Guy Pines', the Jewish actress decided to pay homage to her motherland with the moniker, which also means the "oneness of God".
Meanwhile, the couple - who met on the set of 'Black Swan'- have decided their son will adopt both their last names with the surname Portman-Millepied.
Prior to the birth of baby Alef, who is yet to be seen in public, Natalie admitted her Jewish ancestry had caused her to be "superstitious".
She explained: "I think it's a Jewish thing to be kind of superstitious. You don't do any of the baby stuff before the baby arrives."
Throughout her pregnancy Natalie paid tribute to her parents Avner and Shelley Hershlag, saying she hoped to look after her child in the same way that she was brought up.
She said: "If I am a shadow as good a parent, an echo, then I will be the best in the world, so thank you."

Victoria Beckham 'little while to go' before birth
Victoria Beckham still has a "little while to go" until she gives birth.
The 37-year-old fashion designer - who is believed to be booked in for a caesarean section at a hospital in California to deliver her and husband David Beckham's fourth child later today (04.07.11) - is still awaiting the arrival of the couple's first daughter.
Her spokesperson told gossip website RadarOnline.com: "She still has a little while to go."
The couple - who already raise sons Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, eight, and six-year-old Cruz - recently admitted July 4 will always be a special day for them, not just because it is when their first daughter could be born.
Speaking at the launch of his soccer club Los Angeles Galaxy's new strip, David explained: "Obviously we got married on July 4, 12 years ago, Monday, so it's a special day for us, it always has been and always will be."
Meanwhile, the sports superstar explained he is overwhelmed by all the pink items now in their male-dominated home.
He added: "It's a whole new, different thing for us. To have so much pink in the house, lilac in the house and dresses. All the clothes are ready, the room's ready. We're really excited."
