Jessica Alba giving birth to "brown baby"

Jessica Alba is a mommy now.

The 27-year-old actress Saturday gave birth to a baby girl -- Honor Marie Warren -- three weeks after marrying long-term boyfriend Cash Warren, her publicist Brad Cafarelli confirmed Monday.

Alba and Warren became engaged in late December following her announcement that she's expecting a baby with Warren, 31. They met on the set of the 2005 film "The Fantastic Four," which costarred Alba as the Invisible Woman and employed Warren as a director's assistant.

The Hispanic star recently said she was excited about welcoming her "brown baby" into the world.

"I mean -- my dad is dark-skinned, Mexican, Cash's daddy is dark-skinned, African-American, and our moms are both white. So there's a 50-50 chance of our kid coming out dark or light," she said.

"It would be nice if the daddies can see themselves in our baby!"
