Amy Winehouse is taking Blake Fielder-Civil to Cuba.

The 'Rehab' singer - who recently reconciled with Blake after they divorced in August last year - has reportedly decided to mark their reunion with a romantic trip to Havana for when his court ordered curfew is over, to celebrate their new-found passion for cigar smoking.

A friend told The Sun newspaper: "Smoking cigars is their new thing. It all started when Amy bought a pack of Romeo y Julieta for Blake, because she thinks they're also tragic lovers. Amy and Blake have been spending their time reading up on the history and the culture behind them and followed it to Cuba. She thinks there's a kind of romance to it and would love to go there with Blake."

Blake was released from jail last February after serving time for assault and trial-fixing but had been ordered to remain in Sheffield , North England, to complete drug rehab treatment.

The friend continued: "She wants to go away to celebrate them being back together properly. It will be their 'second honeymoon'. As soon as his curfew allows, they'll be off."

The 26-year-old star - who recently bought a new London home to live in with Blake when his curfew comes to an end - has also commissioned artist and Soho club owner Sam Shaker to paint a picture of them together to mark their reunion.

Sam, who has previously done paintings for the singer's family, said: "She said she loved the paintings and gave me more pictures, including one of her with Blake. When they came to see them she took Blake by the hand and showed him the paintings. He said they were beautiful."

The 'Rehab' singer told Blake Fielder-Civil she wants to call off their divorce and give their marriage another go during an emotional phone call. A friend said: "Blake was absolutely stunned when Amy called. He couldn't believe it. It has been such a long time and so much has happened. "She told him she still loved him and missed him and wanted him back.

She said to him, 'Come home to me. Be with me.' Amy asked him, 'Do you love me?' Blake told her, 'I love you. You know I do'. "Blake told her that if she can stay clear of the drugs there is a chance for them."

The couple - who married in 2007 and were recently granted a decree nisi - have both been trying to get themselves clean of drugs and it seems to be working. Blake is still in rehab following his release from jail earlier this year while Amy recently returned to London from an eight-month break in St. Lucia. Blake is keen to rekindle their relationship as he knows they can no longer be a negative influence on each other's lives if they both stay clean.

He told Britain's News of the World newspaper: "We've been talking for the first time in months. "I love her as much as ever. I know she still loves me, even though we're getting divorced. Maybe this time we can do everything properly and not mess it up. "She is looking beautiful and healthy now and it reminds me of the old Amy.

She has been wearing my engagement ring and it meant an awful lot. "I did something wrong and went to prison. I got clean. Amy flew off somewhere hot, got clean. It was meant to be that way. "We were pushing things to the extreme with our drug-taking and it could never have carried on that way. I want to take her out for dinner and propose again. I hope that within five minutes we'll be planning where we're next going to get married."

Amy Winehouse calls Caribbean home

Amy Winehouse likes being back in the UK, but considers the Caribbean her home.

The 'Back To Black' singer returned to her native England last month to work on her third album, but said she plans to return to her adopted home, the island of St Lucia, where she enjoyed an extended break earlier this year.

She said: "I'm going to be in London for a while now. I'm not going to go home for a while.

"I've got a lot of stuff with my record company to sort out. This is a new chapter for me. I've got some things we're very excited about, definitely. I like being back."

Amy – who was recently granted the first stages in a divorce from husband Blake Fielder-Civil – also said she has no plans to find another man, and made reference to her heartbreak, saying: "Cry yourself to sleep because that obviously helps."

The 25-year-old singer also admitted she doesn't have much of a head for the business side of her success, which includes her own label, Lioness - to which she has signed her teenage goddaughter, Dionne Bromfield.

Amy added to Britain's News Of The World newspaper: "I went into business about seven years ago when I first signed my publishing deal. But I'm not good with that side of things. I'm good at the creativeness.

"The record company director is me, but all me and Dionne do is creative, we're not good at dealing with business. That's not us, that's bulls**t."

Amy Winehouse "died" after a three-day drug binge, her estranged husband has claimed.

Blake Fielder-Civil has revealed he thought Amy had passed away "in his arms" as the pair got high in London in August 2007.

Blake, 27, claims he and Amy - who have been granted a decree nisi and will finalise their divorce in just over four weeks - had been taking heroin and crack cocaine without sleep for days when the singer collapsed.

He told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "I was terrified. We were sitting on the bed talking. Her eyes suddenly went blank. She started having a fit on the bed. I was panicking. I didn't know how to help her. I was out of it on drugs as well, and was sobbing and crying out, 'Amy!'

"She had an awful look on her face then suddenly she just passed out and stopped breathing. It was the most frightening thing I had ever seen. I felt sure I was watching her die right in front of me. I didn't know what to do or how to save her. I held her to me and I thought she was dying in my arms."

Blake eventually "came to his senses" and started CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), reviving the dying star.

He revealed: "I was panicking but I somehow managed to open her mouth and breathe air down her throat. At first nothing happened then she spluttered and I saw her chest rise."

But as soon as she regained consciousness, Blake claims Amy begged for more drugs, even as she was in a taxi being rushed to hospital.

He added: "I loved her so much. I couldn't bear for her to die in front of me. She had everything going for her but she ended up behaving badly just to shock. After a while that just becomes a bore. I'd warned her to stop but she always wanted to keep on taking the drugs."

Amy Winehouse not guilty

Amy Winehouse has been found not guilty of assaulting dancer Sherene Flash.

The 'Back to Black' singer - who was accused of punching Sherene, 30, "forcefully" in the eye at a charity ball, in London, last September -blew kisses at fans and photographers as she left the City of Westminster Magistrates' Court today (24.07.09) with her father Mitch.

A spokesman for the 25-year-old singer said: "Amy would like to thank her family, friends and legal team for their support during this difficult time. She's always maintained her innocence and is very happy to move on with her life and put the episode behind her."

Yesterday (23.07.09), Amy told the courtroom she had only pushed Sherene away from her at the Berkeley Square Ball because she felt "intimidated" after the burlesque dancer "lunged" at her for a photograph.

Amy's lawyer Patrick Gibbs insisted the star should not have been made to face trial at all because several witnesses had told police she had not punched Sherene.

He said: "The main injury here was probably to Miss Flash's pride. Maybe she had been made to look silly in front of friends and colleagues."

The 'Rehab' singer missed her grandmother's funeral yesterday while she was in the dock.

However, Amy did join friends and family to remember her grandmother Esther after her court appearance.

Esther - who was 86 when she died - had been suffering from Alzheimer's Disease for the past year.

Amy's grieving mother Janis said: "The family enjoys a close bond, and Amy is very much at the centre of it. She couldn't interrupt the court case, but was determined to be with me and her relatives at the first opportunity."

Amy, 25, played for just 45 minutes and the final track she attempted to sing 'Valerie' was finished by her band without her.

Sources claim the main reason behind her binge drinking is the hurt she is still feeling following her split from estranged husband Blake Fielder-Civil, who is allegedly expecting a baby with another woman.

One insider told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "Amy was drinking heavily before the concert, she was really nervous about performing after so long.

"She is still very upset about Blake and was over-emotional. She is really disappointed that fans were booing her off stage."

However, a spokesperson for the singer blamed her shambolic performance on the weather, saying: "Amy would like to express her disappointment that weather forced the abandonment of her show at the St. Lucia Jazz Festival. The set started well, but as the heavens opened, a number of technical difficulties occurred on stage, culminating with the lighting rig failing for two songs. In addition, rain began to flood the technical wings at the side of the stage which caused sound problems. Amy and the band tried to soldier on but the set had to be cut short.

"Amy is very disappointed as St. Lucia has been wonderful to her and its people have welcomed her with open arms, but circumstances beyond anyone's control meant that this special show did not go as planned."

Amy is planning to buy a house on the island - where she spent three months on holiday at the beginning of the year - so she can record her long-awaited third album in peace without the temptations of the London party scene.

"Amy has gone back to her wild child ways. She's moody, erratic, drunk and volatile. Everyone around her is starting to think it will be a miracle if she makes it through her set this Friday."

The festival will be Amy's first performance of 2009 and more than 6,000 fans are expected to fly to the idyllic island to see her perform.

Amy's spokesman has denied the alcohol abuse rumours, insisting the troubled star is eagerly awaiting the show.

He said: "Amy is fine and raring to go. Her band are on their way over to St. Lucia as we speak and as soon as they arrive she will start rehearsing again and renew her commitments."

Meanwhile, Amy's father Mitch is worried the star's friends are taking advantage of her, charging expensive meals and alcohol to her expense account.

Another source said: "Mitch knows Amy has to get this comeback concert right. He doesn't want Amy to be lonely, but he doesn't see why she should pay for friends to have a good time."

Blake Fielder-Civil left Suffolk's Edmunds Hill prison where he was met by his mother Georgette and is now set for crunch talks with Amy about the future of their marriage.

Amy reportedly didn't know about her husband's release and has now pledged to travel back from St. Lucia, where she has been on an extended holiday since December.

A friend of Amy told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Hearing Blake was out brought lots of emotions back for Amy. She feels like she was the last to know he was getting released and that hurt.

"She is desperate to see him again and wants to work things out. She still loves him."

However, Blake has vowed to continue the divorce process he started while in jail, after growing tired of his wife's alleged affairs.

Speaking outside prison, he said of the divorce: "It's all going ahead - but I don't really know what will happen. It's just nice to be out.

"Now I am going to get over my drug habit."

A spokesperson for Amy admitted the singer is unsure if she can win back her husband, saying: "I don't know if Blake will change his plans."

Blake, 26, was given a 27-month prison sentence last July for grievous bodily harm (GBH) and attempting to pervert the course of justice.

He was initially released last November and ordered to enter rehab to be treated for his drug addiction. However, he was sent back to jail just a month later after failing a drugs test.

Blake started divorce proceedings in January after Amy was pictured with other men while on her Caribbean holiday.

He has since changed his status on website Facebook to single, while Amy updated her profile picture to one of them together yesterday.

Amy has also been battling drug addiction while in St Lucia, and her friends are worried about the star's return to the UK and the effects her reconciliation with Blake could have.

The source added: "We are nervous about her returning to London. She thinks the fights and problems with Blake are romantic in a tortured love kind of way. We think it's a bit sad - and very dangerous."

If they divorce Amy could have to pay Blake up to £2 million of her estimated £10 million fortune.

James - who was last week cleared of any involvement in attempting to pervert the course of justice - has spoken out about his ordeal following the attack by Blake and his friend Michael Brown, 40. James - who needed twelve hours of surgery and required metal plates and bolts to reconstruct his battered face following the beating outside the Macbeth pub in East London - insists Blake and Amy have ruined his life.

James said: "I hope both Blake and Amy rot. The first time I met him was when his boot was smashing into my face. Since then I've been to hell and back because he's stupid enough to think he could buy his freedom through his marriage to her and her millions." James claims Blake started an intimidation campaign against him to force him to withdraw his statement against his attackers.

This included having James stabbed in the neck and hiring Anthony Kelly to find him when he moved to East Sussex and threaten him at gunpoint. James says he was ordered to take a 200,000 bribe and move to Spain, and told if he didn't he could be knocked out, blindfolded and driven to Europe in the boot of a car. Kelly spent eight months in prison before being cleared. Amy has also been cleared of any involvement in the case. Blake is due to be sentenced on Thursday.

The annual awards for songwriting and composing are among Britain's most prestigious music prizes.

In her brief career to date Winehouse has won five Grammy Awards, the Oscars of the music world. Thursday's was her third Ivor, as the awards are known.

Now in their sixth decade the Ivors are judged and presented by practicing song and music writers.

Reformed boyband Take That won Most Performed Song with Shine, while Radiohead's In Rainbows topped the album award and singer Gabrielle won Outstanding Song Collection.

Soul II Soul star Jazzie D won the first Novello Inspiration Award, while Lebanese-born Mica was named Songwriter of the Year.
