Jennifer Aniston on baby food diet

Jennifer Aniston has reportedly been eating baby food in a bid to shape up.

The actress wanted to shift some weight before she flew out to Hawaii to shoot new movie 'Just Go With It' so enlisted the help of celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson, who recommended The Baby Food Cleanse eating plan, which involves 14 portions of pureed food a day followed by a healthy adult dinner.

It is said to have worked for Jennifer - who has previously admitted to enjoying dairy, coffee and wine - as she has lost 7lbs.

A source told Britain's Grazia magazine: "While in Europe last month, Jen had relaxed her usually strict diet regime. She knew she had been indulging, and seeing as her upcoming role required her to wear lots of little dresses, she wanted to be at her physical peak."

Tracy - whose celebrity clients include Gwyneth Paltrow and Courteney Cox Arquette - is very impressed with Jennifer's progress.

She said: "She's doing really well. Nobody says they only want one specific thing changed. They want the whole toning package."

The diet includes fruit smoothies, pureed oatmeal and pears with cinnamon, soups containing dandelion greens and a dinner of lean meats and vegetables and Tracy swears by the eating plan.

A source said: "Tracy is all about 'clean eating', which means no oils, spices or salt. With 'baby eating', the food is easily processed by the body. Tracy believes efficient digestion equals quick weight loss. But this is a temporary diet for shifting a few pounds quickly, before going back to a normal, healthy eating plan."

Jennifer Aniston sees movie directing in future

After years of starring in romantic comedies, actress Jennifer Aniston is hoping to step behind the camera and direct her first feature film.

The former "Friends" star told reporters in London that she was thinking about branching out after making more than six movies since the end of the popular TV comedy in 2004.

"I have a project in development I'm going to direct. After you get enough movies under your belt you sit back and go, 'What's next?'," Aniston, 41, was quoted as saying by Britain's The Sun newspaper on Monday.

"It's getting to a time where creatively I want to turn in a different direction," she added.

Aniston's directorial feature debut however could still be some years away. The "Bounty Hunter" and "Marley and Me" star has acting role movies in three other movies scheduled for release in 2010 and 2011.

Aniston's publicist in Los Angeles said nothing concrete had been decided and that possible projects Aniston might direct are still in the writing stage of development.

Aniston has already co-directed the 2006 short drama "Room 10" with Andrea Buchanan that won a prize at the CineVegas film festival.

If she moves into feature film directing, she would follow the likes of Hollywood actresses Drew Barrymore and Helen Hunt.

Aniston last week unveiled plans for a new perfume called Lovalie that will be launched in London this summer. She also revealed an ad campaign for the fragrance that shows her sitting on a rock at a beach wrapped only in a large towel.

Jennifer Aniston still wears Mayer gift

Jennifer Aniston still wears the gold Rolex watch given to her by an ex-boyfriend.

The Hollywood beauty has been spotted sporting the luxury timepiece amid rumours she and singer John Mayer have rekindled their romance and are meeting up for secret romantic trysts.

A source said: "John gave Jennifer the Rolex when they were at the height of their romance in May 2008. Jennifer hardly took the watch off, but when they split she stopped wearing it. In recent weeks she's started wearing it again to show John he's still in her thoughts.

"She's even been sending him flirty texts and emails."

The 40-year-old actress and the 31-year-old musician dated for around four months last year. They rekindled their romance earlier this year, but the pair split again in April.

However, their relationship has reportedly warmed up since Jennifer began flirting with him recently.

The source added: "Jennifer's plan is obviously working - John is a keen Rolex collector and Jennifer knows how symbolic the gesture is to him. He's been replying to her with racy pictures and emails.

"It's only a matter of time before they officially announce they're back together."

Jennifer Aniston's early exercise regime

Jennifer Aniston is seen on the set of 'The Bounty' filming in New York City, August 10, 2009.

Jennifer Aniston works out at 3am every day.

The 40-year-old actress, who is currently filming 'The Bounty' in New York, wants to keep in shape despite her hectic schedule so gets up in the middle of the night to exercise.

A source said: "Jennifer has had a totally overhaul for this film. She wants to be seriously fit, yet remain curvy. "There are a lot of early starts on set, so she has had to get up at 3am to get two hours in the gym before filming at 5am.

She is supposed to be playing a 35 year old, and is concerned she won't look the part now she is 40. "It isn't just for this part, either. Every time she is offered the role of a mother, she turns it down - she wants the young characters."

Jennifer - who was recently romantically linked to her 'The Bounty' co-star, Scottish actor Gerard Butler - has even flown her personal yoga instructor Mandy Ingber from Los Angeles to New York so she can have regular sessions in private.

The source added: "It hasn't been easy, but she has combined one-on-one yoga sessions with gruelling weight and workout sessions. "Her new body is the talk of the set and she is revelling in the attention.

Everyone agrees that Jennifer is looking sensational at the moment. Her curves have definitely been noticed - she is glowing."

Jennifer Aniston laughs off lonely label

Jennifer Aniston doesn't mind being seen as a "lonely girl".

The 'Baster' actress - who has had failed relationships with Brad Pitt, Vince Vaughn, Paul Sculfor and John Mayer - insists she is happy, but can understand why her personal life attracts so much negative attention.

She told Elle magazine: "I'm not going to ignore the pink elephant in the living room. It's fine. I can take it. I am supportive of anybody who is in a place that's not their strongest but is ready to push forward.

"If I'm the emblem for 'this is what it looks like to be the lonely girl getting on with her life,' so be it. I can make fun of myself. And I'll bring it up as long as the world is bringing it up."

The former 'Friends' star also revealed she has used humour to cope with personal heartbreak.

She said: "My parents made each other laugh like nobody's business. I put a lot of value in that at a very young age.

"I remember being seven and asking my mom if I was as pretty as my best friend Monique. And with all the love in the world, my mom looked at me and said, 'Oh, honey, you're so funny.' So, she doesn't lie to me - she answers the question by not answering and instead tells me what she thinks is my greatest strength."

However, some events in her life - including when her father John Aniston left the family home when she was a child - proved too difficult to handle.

Recalling one of her most traumatic experiences, Jennifer said: "My dad walking out and not seeing him for a year and not knowing where he was. I was trying to understand, 'Where did that person go?' "

Jolie, Aniston are Hollywood top-earning actresses

Angelina Jolie, best actress nominee for "Changeling," arrives at the 81st Academy Awards in Hollywood, California February 22, 2009.

Angelina Jolie is Hollywood's top earning actress, banking $27 million in the past year to beat out her partner Brad Pitt's ex-wife Jennifer Aniston, who raked in $25 million, a Forbes.com study showed on Wednesday.

Most of Jolie's income came from her share of the profits from her action film "Wanted," but she was also paid a large upfront sum for her role in "Salt," the study said. Jolie and Pitt have six children.

Aniston, who was married to Pitt before he became involved with Jolie, earned most of her millions from the romantic comedy "Marley and Me" and her upcoming film "The Baster."

"Aniston also still earns money from (reruns of TV series) Friends and she gets a nice paycheck shilling for Glaceau's SmartWater," Forbes.com said.

Meryl Streep came in at No. 3 with $24 million, most of which came from her role in "Mamma Mia," while Sarah Jessica Parker was ranked fourth with $23 million in earnings following the movie version of TV series "Sex and the City."

Cameron Diaz rounds out the top five, banking $20 million between June 2008 and June 2009.

Forbes.com said it spoke to agents, managers, producers and lawyers to work out what actresses were paid upfront for movies they are currently shooting and what pay they might have earned after a movie hit the theaters. Money earned from perfume or clothing lines was also taken into account.

"As is still typical for Hollywood, our actresses earned significantly less than their male counterparts," Forbes.com said, pointing out that the top earning male actor, Harrison Ford, made $65 million.

Jennifer Aniston 'connected' to Cooper

Jennifer Aniston "feels a connection" with Bradley Cooper.

The actress - who was spotted enjoying an intimate dinner with her 'He's Just Not That Into You' co-star in New York last week - is delighted with the way her new romance is heading.

A source told America's Star magazine: "Jennifer is really excited. She feels a connection to Bradley." The pair enjoyed a three-hour date at Manhattan's exclusive Italian restaurant Il Cantinori, where they shared wine and ate by candlelight.

A witness explained: "They acted like two kids falling in love. I went over to say hi to them, and I noticed they were holding hands under the table because they let go to shake my hand." Bradley, 34, is also said to have told friends he has "feelings" for the 40-year-old actress.

Last month, Jennifer and Bradley were seen flirting at a party for her movie 'Management', but Bradley was quick to shoot down rumours they were an item. He said: "I am single. I have only met her three times in my life but I'm very flattered."

Jennifer Aniston told to move on

Jennifer Aniston is being urged to cut Brad Pitt out of her life.

The actress' friends are worried she will never get over her ex-husband if she doesn't distance herself from him.

A source said: "It's not that Courteney Cox and co dislike Brad - quite the opposite. They're all fond of him because he's a pleasant guy to be around. But that's the very reason why he can't be in Jennifer's life - Courteney has told her repeatedly to ditch Brad's number. But it's never going to be that simple - he was her one big love."

Friends believe that if Brad does ever split from current partner Angelina Jolie he would be unlikely to rekindle his romance with Jennifer.

The source added to Britain's Look magazine: "Even if he and Jennifer were to reunite, look how complicated their life together would be. Jennifer would always have to deal with Angelina's presence because she and Brad raise six kids together. That's a huge commitment."

Jennifer - who has dated Vince Vaughn, Paul Sculfor and John Mayer since her divorce in 2005 - has reportedly struggled to find a man to compare to the 'Burn After Reading' star.

The source explained: "It seems Jennifer can't find anyone to fill Brad's shoes. "Jennifer needs to forget about Brad and give herself the chance to move on. Otherwise she's going to spend the rest of her life pining for him."

Jennifer Aniston can't fake it

Jennifer Aniston says it's impossible to fake chemistry with a leading man.

The 40-year-old actress - who has starred alongside some of Hollywood's biggest male stars, including Clive Owen, Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson - insists it is vitally important for the two main characters to connect, but admits it's not always easy.

She said: "You can't buy chemistry. You can't train it. On the first day of rehearsal it's like, 'This is good.' You know it when it happens and boy do you know it when it's not there."

Although the former 'Friends' star is enjoying every aspect of her acting career, she is considering moving into directing.

She said: "I'm still working on becoming a director. I'm just waiting for the right thing. When you get to a place in your career where you're like, 'OK, I feel like I can breathe and I can make some choices that creatively stimulate me.' I don't know if acting is always going to be it, but I love it."

Jennifer Aniston's partying past

Jennifer Aniston used to wear a policeman's hat while partying.

The former 'Friends' star - who is often voted the world's most stylish women - admitted she made many fashion faux pas during the 80s and regularly visited New York's all night clubs.

She said: "I did have that period."

Jennifer went on to describe her favourite outfit, which consisted of ripped tights, boots, a police hat and "maybe a bra".

The 40-year-old actress - who also confessed to dancing on the clubs' podiums - added to US TV talk show Jimmy Fallon: "No one should have let us go outside like that!"

Although her days of wild parties and fashion mistakes are over, Jennifer recently admitted to worrying about something else - grey hairs.

The 40-year-old actress said: "I found a really long grey hair and it kind of flipped me out. It's not my first but it's the fact that it was so long. I was like, 'Oh that's been there. How many others are there, and what does that mean?' It actually brought me to tears slightly."

Jennifer Aniston single and happy

Actress Jennifer Aniston reacts during the television show "Wetten Dass..?" (Bet it..?) in the western German city of Duesseldorf February 28, 2009.

Jennifer Aniston was spotted "checking out" a handsome stranger on Saturday (04.04.09).

The 'Marley and Me' actress, who parted ways with John Mayer last month, showed she was over the musician when a mystery hunk caught her attention at Sir Paul McCartney's concert in New York.

A source said: "She looked really happy. There was a definite glow to her. She couldn't stop smiling.

"Jennifer checked out a cute guy walking in. She looked him up and down twice! She flashed him a beaming smile but got pulled back into a conversation with her girlfriends."

The 40-year-old star, who watched Jerry Seinfeld's stand-up routine before arriving at the charity concert, spent the evening laughing with a group of friends.

The source added to New York Daily News newspaper: "The girls talked for a bit about how elated Jennifer was to have free time again. Jennifer laughed out loud at that, as though it were an inside joke.

"She was having so much fun. John and their issues seemed like the last thing on her mind."

It has been claimed Jennifer - who had been dating John on and off for around a year - dumped the 'Gravity' singer because he wasn't ready to have children and had been spending too much time on the internet.

She recently admitted she didn't expect their romance to stand the test of time.

Jennifer said: "Who ever said that every relationship has to last forever? That's hoping for too much. I think every relationship is a world unto itself."

Jennifer Aniston upstaged by dogs

Jennifer Aniston had no idea she would be upstaged by the dogs in her new movie.

The 40-year-old actress admits she and Owen Wilson often struggled to steal the limelight from their canine co-stars while filming romantic comedy 'Marley and Me'.

Speaking about the character of Marley - who was played by 22 different Golden Labradors - Jennifer joked at the UK premiere of the film in London's Leicester Square last night (02.03.09): "They didn't warn us about that. Those dogs in the movie were really good!"

Owen, who looked dashing in a dark grey Burberry suit, laughingly revealed the dogs didn't always behave themselves during filming.
He explained: "There was one scene where one of the Labradors kind of lifted his leg and he wasn't supposed to."

Owen - whose own pet Garcia had a cameo in the movie - insists he and Jennifer enjoyed working with the loveable animals because they are both dog owners.

He explained: "I had a real soft spot for Copper, who was a 25-year-old Labrador. But they all did great."

Both stars braved chilly temperatures to sign autographs and pose for photographs with fans.

Jennifer - who was wearing a blue floor-length strapless Burberry dress and Azzedine Alaia high heels - didn't stop shivering until she slipped on a black Burberry fitted jacket.

The former 'Friends' actress revealed she hopes to work with Owen, also 40, again in the future.
Speaking about a possible collaboration, Jennifer said: "That would be nice. We had a great time."

'Marley and Me' - based on the best-selling autobiographical book by John Grogan - tells the story of a young married couple who end up buying a puppy which they soon realise is the "world's worst dog".

Jennifer Aniston's questionable exes

Jennifer Aniston's friends thought some of her ex-boyfriends were gay.

The "He's Just Not That Into You" actress - who is divorced from actor Brad Pitt and is currently dating musician John Mayer - claims pals have taken her aside to warn her off continuing relationships in the past.

Cast member Jennifer Aniston smiles at the premiere of the movie "He's Just Not That Into You" at the Grauman's Chinese theatre in Hollywood, California February 2, 2009.

She joked: "I've had people say, 'Honey, I think he's gay.' My reaction is, 'What! But we get along so well!' "

Jennifer, who celebrates her 40th birthday next week, added she does not like it when men try too hard to impress her, preferring simple dates spent talking to each other.

She told US TV series 'The Early Show': "My perfect date is well thought out and simple. Just being able to go to a great restaurant, great conversation and a walk on a beach if there is one to be walked on."

The actress - who previously directed short film 'Room 101' as part of Glamour Reel Moments competition - also revealed she is contemplating making a move to directing in the future.

She said: "I am interested in directing. I directed a short feature a couple of years ago with Glamour. I just really enjoyed the process. The editing was one of my favourite parts of it. I'm always a little bossy."
