Kim Kardashian to earn 18m from wedding

Kim Kardashian will reportedly earn up to $18 million from her wedding.

The reality TV star's marriage to basketball ace Kris Humphries took place on Saturday (20.08.11) in Montecito, California, and while no expense was spared on nuptials and the 440 guests, the couple are said to be netting a huge sum from their big day.

The wedding was filmed for a four-hour, two part TV special to be shown by E!, for which the New York Post newspaper claims they will receive between $12 and $15 million.

People magazine is believed to have paid $2.5 million for the exclusive rights to the happy couple's wedding photos and a further $300,000 for the engagement shots, while Britain's OK magazine is said to have paid $100,000 for exclusive pictures of the bridal shower.

The couple were also able to use their celebrity and the media exposure of the wedding to help get discounts on goods for the wedding too.

Los Angeles based celebrity event planner Tony Schubert said: "It benefits the vendors, their goods and services to be shown to millions of people."

Among the free items the couple reportedly received for the wedding were the three Vera Wang dresses Kim wore during the ceremony and reception, worth $20,000 each, $400,000 in Perrier Jouet Champagne, and $10,000 worth of wedding invitations.

They were also said to have been gifted their 10 layer wedding cake from Hansen's Bakery - which at six feet tall towered over Kim - thought to be worth $15,000.

Kim and Kris are set to continue their wedding celebrations, with a second ceremony planned for New York early next week.

Despite all of the talk of money, the wedding day had many priceless touching moments, particularly the entrance of 21-month old ring bearer, Mason, the son of Kim's sister Kourtney.

Guest Kathie Lee Gifford said: "If it's possible to steal the thunder from Kim Kardashian Humphries, it was Mason. He was just the cutest thing. It just reminded me of the study in contrast.

"It was typically Kardashian, over-the-top, crazy, but ultimately it comes down to family."

Kim Kardashian's bottom is like a portable "pillow".

The US reality TV star - who is famous for her curvy derriere - lent her rear end to younger sister Khloe

Kardashian when she needed a nap mid-way through a launch party recently.

Writing on her blog, Khloe said: "At one point I got really tired, so I had to take a nap on Kim's booty. It really does make the best pillow."

Khloe explained she was desperate for some rest because of all the work she'd been doing recently.

She added: "These long days are killing me!!! LOL. (sic)"

Kim's bottom was recently praised as being "like a water bomb."

Referring to her behind, Kim said: "While I've been here, a few people have asked if it's real, so you can grab it if you want."

Kim questioned: "Maybe a little too juicy?"

However, 29-year-old Kim has claimed her backside isn't actually that large.

She said: "My butt is probably not as big as you might think, because I have small legs and a small waist, which makes it appear bigger."

Kim recently appeared naked in a photoshoot for Harpers Bazaar magazine, and said she felt more comfortable than when she appeared in Men's magazine 'Playboy', and is proud that she is seen as a role model to younger girls

Kim, 29, said: "It's definitely scary, but it's very liberating. I think the message is embrace your curves and who you are. I feel proud if young girls look up to me and say, 'I'm curvy and proud of it now.'

"I might have a little bit of cellulite. I might not be toned everywhere. I might struggle in this area or that."

Kim Kardashian splits with Reggie

Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush have split.

The reality TV star is said to have amicably parted from her American football player boyfriend after three years because he couldn't take the pressure her fame was putting on their relationship.

Kim and Reggie also briefly split over summer last year, which was blamed on their schedules keeping them apart so often.

While Kim was filming with her sisters for TV series 'Kourtney and Khloe take Miami' in Florida at the weekend, onlookers claim Reggie was seen flirting in New York on Saturday night (20.03.10) at upmarket nightclub Avenue.

A source told the New York post newspaper: "Reggie and his gang made friends with some of the girls who were all dancing on his table around 2am.

"He offered one of the girls a lemon-drop shot, but she declined."

Later when asked if he was still dating Kim, Reggie told reporters "no more questions."

News of the split comes less than a month after the couple are said to have bought a $4.8 million love-nest together in Beverley Hills, after putting their respective properties up for sale.
