Jessica Alba welcomes second daughter
Jessica Alba has become a mother for the second time.
The actress - who already has a three-year-old daughter, Honor, with husband Cash Warren - gave birth to another girl on Saturday (13.08.11).
The couple have decided to name the tot - who weighed in at 7lbs - Haven Garner Warren and both mother and baby are doing well.
Jessica announced the happy news on her Facebook page, writing: "She was born on Saturday, weighed 7 lbs. and was 19 inches long. Healthy and happy! Big sister Honor couldn't be more excited about the new addition to our family.
"Thank you for all of your support during my pregnancy. It means the world to me."
Before the birth, Jessica revealed how she couldn't wait to meet her new baby as she had already bonded with the tot during her pregnancy.
The 30-year-old beauty said: "The idea of loving someone as much as I love Honor is something I haven't wrapped my head around yet. But I know I will and I can't wait. As a mother carrying a baby we get to bond while the baby is growing - reaching each milestone, feeling hiccups, kicks, rolling around. It's the blessing I think we get for all the round-ligament pain, sciatic pain and frequent trips to the bathroom.
"I'm signed up at three mommy sites that update me daily and weekly on the baby's development, which is probably a bit much. But it's a nice break from the day to check in with the baby, because, like everything else in life these days, time flies."

Jessica Alba campaigning for education
Jessica Alba campaigned to US Congressional leaders yesterday (21.04.10) to help aid better standards of education in Africa.
The 'Fantastic Four' recently returned visiting Ghana, Senegal and South Africa with the 1GOAL charity, where she visited schools and football foundations set up to help provide schooling for needy children.
The charity is campaigning for the re-introduction of a global Education for All Act and estimates there are 72 million children worldwide who don't have access to education, 60 per cent of which are in Africa.
Speaking of her trip, Jessica said: "It's tough to think 72 million children don't have access to an education. That's a daunting number and something that's just really hard for me to understand.
"I came to Africa to listen and learn. The individual people have inspired me.
"I travelled to Ghana, Senegal and South Africa with 1GOAL to listen and learn and see for myself the impact of education."
Jessica - who has a 22-month old daughter, Honor Marie, with husband Cash Warren- said one school she visited in Ghana, a soccer academy, struck her because of the huge difference it is making to its pupils.
She added: "Education is the only sustainable method to fighting poverty. This summer, millions will watch South Africa host the World Cup. We're asking people around the world to lend their voice to the 72 million children out of school and call on our world leaders to pledge the funding necessary to achieve education for all."

Jessica Alba's weight loss secret
Actress Jessica Alba arrives at The Huffington Post Pre-Inaugural Ball in Washington, DC January 19, 2009.Jessica Alba has revealed the secret behind her post-pregnancy figure - she wore a girdle.
The 'Sin City' star - who gave birth to her daughter Honor Marie last June - has admitted her trim body has little to do with hours spent at the gym.
She said: "I wore a girdle. Eight weeks after my girlfriend had her baby, you could see her six-pack. She told me to put an elastic band around my waist - any kind of band or girdle works. I didn't recover as fast as she did. I don't have a six-pack - that's just not my body at all."
Jessica - who married her husband Cash Warren in a secret ceremony last May - hated working out after having Honor Marie, and refuses to return to the gym.
She said: "The workouts were horrible - I cried. And I haven't worked out since."
In fact, Jessica claims the easiest part of having her daughter was the labour itself.
She added to Elle magazine: "Contractions aren't that bad. If you've ever had bad cramps? That's what they're like. But that moment when they put the baby on your chest - that's deep. It's a deep experience."
The 27-year-old actress finds it so difficult to be away from her eight-month-old daughter she uses a computer programme to keep in touch.
She said: "This is the first time I've been away from her. It's been six days. It sucks - it's the worst thing ever. But we Skype, so I can see her on video. The worst is when you can see her little chubby hands grab the screen, and I'm not there."

Jessica Alba reveals birth details
Hollywood star Jessica Alba says giving birth was more like "meditation."
The 27-year-old actress - who welcomed daughter Honor Marie into the world on June 7 - insists she exuded quiet strength during the natural labor and the whole experience was incredibly peaceful.
She said: "I didn't scream. It was really Zen. The labor was more like meditation. I did yoga breathing. I was focused. I ate a lot of soul food before she was born."
Jessica’s husband Cash Warren added: "She didn't make a sound. It was amazing."
The "Love Guru" actress also revealed she has already embarked on an exercise and healthy eating regime to shed her post pregnancy weight.
She told America’s OK! magazine: "I started working out last Thursday, but for 20 minutes. I do cardio on my own. I'm doing it slow. Now I'm starting to eat more healthy. Because after working out, having fried chicken and mashed potatoes is a little counteractive."
Cash is convinced Honor looks just like him, but he is worried his daughter will later develop Jessica’s stunning features and he will have to deter numerous male suitors.
He said: "She looks like a girl version of me. She has my nose, my eyebrows and my forehead and dimples."
Jessica added: "She has my mouth when I was a baby. And my ears."
Cash said: "Maybe Honor is a mixture. I want her to look like me, because a daughter looking like Jessica, I'd kill myself!"
