Gwyneth Paltrow's hard marriage

Gwyneth Paltrow admits her marriage isn't always easy.

The 'Iron Man 2' actress - who wed Coldplay frontman Chris Martin in 2003 - says they have to work at their relationship like everyone else but both respect the commitment they made to each other.

Gwyneth - who has two children, Apple, five, and four-year-old Moses, with the 'Fix You' rocker - said: "It's honesty and support and respect. I really have an incredible amount of respect for him as a man, as a human being and as an artist. We have our ups and downs like every couple, but I think you have to make that commitment to invest in a life together and then you don't get that thing if you're single and dating or whatever."

Gwyneth also revealed she is much more relaxed with her lifestyle following years of being an a strict macrobiotic diet.

She told Britain's Star magazine: "I have to gain weight. I can't be one of those people that never does it. I would go crazy. I like food to much, I like alcohol too much, I like ice cream too much. I could never live like that. It would be so profoundly boring to always be strict with myself."

Gwyneth Paltrow criticised Downey kiss

Gwyneth Paltrow called Robert Downey Jr. a bad kisser.

The actress locks lips with the hunk in forthcoming superhero sequel 'Iron Man 2' but the actor - who plays the title character and his alter ego Tony Stark - claims he deliberately toned down the passion to stop their smooch being "weird".

He said: "She said to me that I didn't know what I was doing, like it didn't feel good. I'm like, 'You know what? First of all, we're all friends, so what would be creepy would be if I was coming off all sexy to you-which by the way, I've done in movies and it creeps them out. So what am I going to creep you out for?' "

However, despite Gwyneth's criticism, the 45-year-old actor insists his co-star - who reprises her role as Pepper Potts in the sequel - really enjoyed their love scene.

He quipped: "I couldn't get her off of me. It was embarrassing.

"Despite what she said on set, she still thinks about it."

Speaking about their romantic moment, 37-year-old Gwyneth revealed both her husband, Coldplay singer Chris Martin, and Robert's wife, the movie's executive producer Susan Downey, were on set for it.

She said: "It was great because both my husband and his were right there."

Gwyneth Paltrow's Spanish dream

Gwyneth Paltrow says Spain has "become a second home".

The 'Iron Man' star spent a lot of time in the Mediterranean country filming cooking show 'On the Road Again' with chef Mario Batali and would happily leave New York and move there permanently.

The 36-year-old actress said: "It is so different from the United States. It seemed to have a history, and the buildings are years and years and years old. Here in the United States an old building is about 17 years old, and over there it's from 500 B.C., it's incredible.

"Also, the way people live over there. They seem to enjoy life a little bit more. They aren't running around as much as in New York. They enjoy time with the family. They don't always have their BlackBerry on."

Gwyneth has two children, Apple, five, and Moses, three, with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and loves to boast about their linguistic abilities.

She added: "Moses speaks a little bit of Spanish, but understands everything. Apple speaks a lot."

It's not the first time Gwyneth has criticised the American way of life.

In 2006, she sparked controversy when she told a Portuguese paper she liked "the English lifestyle" because it's not as "capitalistic" as the US.

She was quoted as saying: "People don't talk about work and money... they talk about interesting things at dinner."

Gwyneth later claimed she was misquoted.

Gwyneth Paltrow jealous of Scarlett

Gwyneth Paltrow is reportedly jealous of the attention Scarlett Johansson is receiving of the set of their latest movie.

The 'Shakespeare in Love' actress is said to be annoyed with her 'Iron Man 2' co-star's attitude leading to a frosty atmosphere between the two screen beauties.

A source said: "Gwyneth has become very frustrated with Scarlett. They come from different worlds and have completely different styles.

"Gwyneth has found Scarlett very demanding for the attention of the crew. It's not a happy set."

Gwyneth - who reprises her role as Pepper Potts in the superhero movie, based on the Marvel comic book series - is also said to be upset producers decided to cast 24-year-old Scarlett in the part of sexy former spy Natasha Romanoff.

The source added to Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Gwyneth and Scarlett have never been particularly close. Gwyneth was looking forward to working with Emily Blunt, who was originally in line for the part, but it ended up being Scarlett.

"Gwyneth's had to live with that and she has been very professional, but she and Scarlett haven't developed a friendship on the shoot, which is almost at the halfway point."

Gwyneth, 36, has now taken a break from filming to join her husband Chris Martin as he continues to tour the US with his band Coldplay.

Once she returns, the mother-of-two will shoot the movie's main action scenes, something she is looking forward to.

Gwyneth Paltrow's heavenly husband

Gwyneth Paltrow's heavenly husband

Gwyneth Paltrow believes husband Chris Martin was a gift sent from heaven by her late father. The Oscar-winning actress met the Coldplay frontman just weeks after the devastating death of Bruce Paltrow and Gwyneth is convinced her beloved dad had something to do with it.

She told Britain's New!magazine: "My father died and I met my husband three weeks later. So, in a way, it felt like my father was in heaven putting him there in my life, you know?" Meanwhile, Gwyneth admits she broke down in tears while filming new movie 'Iron Man' because she was away from her two children, Apple, four, and two-year-old Moses.

She added: "Some days I'd think, 'Oh, my God, they're in the bath right now and I'm not there.' I'd cry in my trailer! But I realised it's OK for me to want to express that part of myself. It's why I'm here. But I'll never go back to exploiting it the way I did. Never! What I have at home is too precious."

The 'Iron Man' star - who has two children with her Coldplay star husband Chris Martin - is totally committed to maintaining her svelte figure, according to her chef friend Mario Batali.

Gwyneth Paltrow works out for three hours a day.

Mario, who stars with Gwyneth in US TV documentary 'Spain... On the Road Again', said: "I think she works out three hours a day - which is one of the keys to success. If we all did that, we'd all look like Gwyneth Paltrow - or at least closer!"

Mario also revealed the 35-year-old actress is blessed with a fast metabolism which means she never gains weight.

He added: "Gwyneth loves to eat and, you know, she never puts on a pound!"

Gwyneth and Mario travel around Spain with Mark Bittman and Spanish actress Claudia Bassols in the documentary.

Mario said: "We had an amazing time - we saw everything! It's very much like a road trip, we just drove into a place, figured out what was going on and tried to get a hold of it."
