Gemma Arterton praises 'fit' Jake

Gemma Arterton thinks Jake Gyllenhaal is "fit".

The British beauty - who stars alongside the handsome actor in upcoming adventure movie 'Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time' - admits she was attracted to her co-star, but not as much as her fiance.

Gemma said: "Jake was a very, very funny guy. He's really nice. He's quite serious when it comes to his work. He works hard and he is a perfectionist. But he likes to make jokes and he's fun. He's funny. And he is fit, of course.

"But I'm engaged. Contrary to popular belief he's not a stuntman. Everyone thinks he is but he's not. He is a bounty hunter. I can't tell you. He may work for the secret services!"

Speaking about her secret fiance - who was rumoured to be stuntman Ben Cooke - Gemma says she won't get a pre-nuptial agreement.

She said in an interview with British station Radio 1: "The other day I was out in a bar and a lawyer came up to me and said, 'Are you engaged?' And I said, 'Yeah', and he said, 'I do good pre-nups.' What about trusting people?"

Gemma Arterton not as pretty as pixels

Gemma Arterton isn't enough of a "sex goddess" to please fans of the 'Prince of Persia: The Sands Of Time' computer game.

The British actress has been told by fans of the computer game - which her latest film is based on - she doesn't meet their expectations for her character, Princess Tamina, leaving her scared to go to a comic convention to promote the film.

Gemma said: "They want me to go to Comic-Con. It kind of worries me. I've had letters telling me I'm not right for the part because I don't look like the girl in the video game!

"She really is this sex goddess. They've got massively high standards."

Gemma's character's name was changed from Farah to Tamina for the 'Prince Of Persia: The Sands of Time' film, in which she stars alongside Jake Gyllenhaal, who plays the lead character Prince Dalston. The film is an adaptation of a 2003 computer game of the same name and sees the prince and princess trying to prevent an epic sandstorm swallowing their homeland.

Despite Gemma's Hollywood career taking off - with a role in 'Clash Of the Titans' and having previously appeared as one of the women seduced by the British spy character James Bond in 'Quantum of Solace'- she also appears in low budget thriller film 'The Disappearance of Alice Creed', a film she wholeheartedly believed in enough to appear naked.

She added to Details magazine: "This is the sort of movie I always imagined I'd end up doing. This is the sort of movie I'd go to see in the cinema.

"I wouldn't get my clothes off for just any film. On camera I really didn't give a s**t, but as soon as they said 'Cut!' I was like, 'Someone put the dressing gown over me!'"

Gemma Arterton's hair disguise

Gemma Arterton never gets recognised because she constantly changes her hair.

The 22-year-old actress - who has sported a variety of styles since shooting to fame in 2007's 'St. Trinian's' - insists her ever-changing locks provide her with the perfect disguise when in public.

She said: "I never get recognised. I think it's because my hair keeps changing all the time. People never know it's me!

"But, to be honest, I'm not really that well known, I haven't had that many films actually out yet."

Gemma - who starred as a Bond girl in last year's 007 adventure 'Quantum of Solace' - is currently shooting 'Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time' alongside Jake Gyllenhaal which should see her public profile skyrocket.

However, the British beauty doesn't want to get too famous, because she likes to be outrageous in her private life.

She said: "I worry about the lack of privacy if you get too famous. I like to be quite wild!"
