Lindsay Lohan leaves rehab

Lindsay Lohan left rehab last night (21.10.10).

The troubled actress - who had been undergoing a rehab treatment programme at the Betty Ford Clinic in Los Angeles since September 28 - left the centre ahead of her probation violation court hearing this morning.

The 'Machete' actress is expected to be sentenced to either more jail time - up to a year behind bars - or receive a further court-appointed rehab stay when she stands in front of Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elden Fox today (22.10.10).

She was sentenced to four weeks in jail on September 24 for violating her probation order after testing positive in drugs tests, but was released hours later.

Her lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley has been desperately trying to arrange a meeting with the judge before today, but was turned down.

But her team are apparently "expecting the worse" after her requests were turned down.

It is believed her mother Dina joined Lindsay in the centre on Wednesday (20.10.10), ahead of her daughter's release.

A source said: "She told me she saw Lindsay and she's feeling really well and doing great. Now, they're just anxiously awaiting Friday's court appearance."

Meanwhile, Lindsay's estranged father Michael has claimed he was attacked outside his home in Santa Monica, California, last night.

Gossip website TMZ reported: "He was getting into his car shortly before 10pm when someone came up behind him and started to choke him. Michael is telling cops he fought with the suspect before the man took off running."

Michael claims the man, aged in his 50s or 60s, was wearing a black running suite when he attacked him before running off.

The Santa Monica Police Department received an emergency call and raced to the scene to find Michael shirtless, apparently with scratches over his neck.

Police are investigating.

Lindsay Lohan's dad calls for her resurrection

Lindsay Lohan can "die to sin", her father claims.

Michael Lohan - who has repeatedly insisted the actress needs help for prescription drug addiction - thinks the troubled star has what it takes to put her problems behind her and "resurrect" her career, which has faltered in recent years.

He said: "I absolutely agree that a parent must 'go to any length' to save their child, or for that matter, anyone we can. And it's time to help Lindsay resurrect her life and her career.

"I didn't want to refer to Jesus, but I find it only fitting to state that he too, died to the world of sin, and he too was resurrected. Yet, while his death was one of a physical and spiritual nature, Lindsay can also die to sin (addiction) spiritually, be forgiven and resurrected as well.

"She is blessed, she is gifted, she is talented and she is one of the most caring and loving people I know. In so much, I am prepared to suffer the consequences, as painful or costly as they may be."

Michael - who is estranged from Lindsay - believes action needs to be taken to help the actress soon.

He added to X17 Online: "The clock is ticking, for Lindsay, for me and for the system, because the days are coming when we will all be put to the test."

The 23-year-old actress let her guilty food secret slip while out celebrating her on/off girlfriend Samantha Ronson's 32nd birthday on Friday (07.08.09).

Samantha was due to DJ at Chicago's Hotel Sax's Crimson Lounge, and was amazed when Lindsay and her younger sister Ali Lohan flew to the US city to surprise her on her special day.

The trio and a group of friends ate dinner at eatery Hub 51, where they munched chicken and steak tacos followed by carrot cake.

Lindsay - who has completed three stints in rehab - and Samantha frequently went outside to smoke cigarettes, prompting an onlooker to chastise her.

Lindsay replied: "This is far from the worst thing I've ever done to my body!"

The group then went to watch Samantha perform, after which they moved on to nightspot Angels and Kings.

Lindsay Lohan is 'Workaholic'

Lindsay Lohan is a "workaholic".

The 'Mean Girls' actress - who is more famous for her turbulent personal life rather than her career - always needs to have a project on the go otherwise she gets frustrated.

She said: "It's not that hard to be me, but I do work harder than most of my friends' parents. I am the hardest-working person I know. I'm a workaholic. I don't know what to do when I'm not working. I get creatively frustrated."

The 23-year-old star - whose most recent film, 2007's 'I Know Who Killed Me', flopped - last appeared on screen in US TV show 'Ugly Betty' but says she would rather be making movies.

She told Britain's OK! magazine: "I prefer to be making films. For most people - and for me, too - there's something about going to the movies. It's about being able to transform into different people and tell different stories. You can go to the movies if you're depressed, and you can walk out later laughing. The fact that going into a theatre for two hours can do that is an amazing feeling.

"To be the person who's on that screen, who can make someone feel better, or bring out more emotion in someone, makes me feel really blessed that I'm able to do that. It's just about finding the right roles, but when the time is right, they will come."

Lindsay Lohan is to star in a new reality show.

The 'Mean Girls' actress is in negotiations with 'American Idol' host Ryan Seacrest to present a philanthropic programme that gives disadvantaged people $1 million to change their lives.

The pair sparked rumours they were dating when they were seen partying at h.wood in Los Angeles last Thursday (18.06.09).

But Ryan insisted the meeting was purely business, writing on his Twitter page: "Met with Lindsay last night about a show idea I have for her. It helps people and gives others a second shot! Still putting it all together."

Lindsay, 22, also mentioned the show on her Twitter account, writing: "Working on a really great project for television -- I am excited! Something meaningful like Extreme Home Makeover on ABC… :) (sic)"

The programme will reportedly give people who are "on the wrong track" a second chance to improve their lives.

Ryan - who produces 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' and 'Bromance' - believes the 22-year-old actress would be a perfect host and judge for the show.

A source said: "Ryan thinks Lindsay would be a great way to start the series, and Lindsay thinks it will help rehabilitate her image. She's very interested."

A source told website E! Online: "Nicole refuses even to be in the same room as Lindsay and Lindsay was furious when Sam was invited to a party Nicole held for a mutual friend and she wasn't.

"Sam went to the party and it really upset Lindsay."

At the bash, Sam enjoyed a meal with pregnant Nicole and reportedly sent a message to Lindsay telling her their relationship was over and to stop contacting her.

Earlier this month, Lindsay was spotted wearing an engagement ring, sparking rumours the pair had committed to one another.

At the time, friends of the couple - who have dated on and off for two years - revealed Lindsay's was trying hard to keep Sam - the sister of super-producer Mark Ronson - happy.

After reuniting at the airport Lindsay and Samantha reportedly demanded to sit together and walked to the first class lounge holding hands.

The 22-year-old Hollywood star and Samantha, 31, stayed in separate hotels during their UK break and were hardly seen together during the trip, despite Lindsay's desperate attempts to track the DJ down last Wednesday evening (03.06.09).

Friends of the couple - who have dated on and off for two years - have confirmed their relationship is back on.

Lindsay Lohan chased her ex-girlfriend around London on Wednesday night (03.06.09).

The 22-year-old actress followed DJ Samantha Ronson - who she split from earlier this year - from club to club, desperate to talk about "their future together".

Her mission began at the Bloomsbury Ballroom, where Samantha and her producer brother Mark Ronson were watching Daniel Merriweather perform.

When Lindsay showed up, Mark and Samantha hailed a taxi and fled to exclusive nightspot Bungalow 8. They had reportedly been there less than 20 minutes when Lindsay called Samantha and told her she was on her way to the club to join them for a drink.

The Ronsons quickly hailed another cab to take Samantha back to Blakes Hotel in Kensington, where she is staying. Hotel sources claim Lindsay arrived minutes later, and was finally let in to Samantha's room at 2.30am.

A source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Short of a restraining order, nothing can ward her off. They spent a few hours together before Lindsay left with a melon-wedge grin. When we asked if she'd enjoyed her time with Sam, she just chuckled and said, 'Oh yes.' "

The 'Mean Girls' actress - who has been looking worryingly thin since her break-up from girlfriend Samantha Ronson - was told by producers of 'The Other Side' to pile on the pounds because the part requires it.

A source told America's Star magazine: "Producers want Lindsay looking like a normal, healthy girl, not a skeleton. So they ordered her to rest up and eat more. They refuse to risk her dropping out of the movie because of her problems."

Lindsay landed the role in the comedy earlier this month, her first big-screen outing since 2007's flop 'I Know Who Killed Me'.

Commenting on her casting, the film's director David Michaels said: "Lindsay's very aware of people's perceptions of her. She's really committed to doing what she has to in order to change that."

The 22-year-old actress recently complained the attention her personal life attracts is harming her career.

She said: "When I was a kid, I thought movie stars were people who wanted to act in great movies. It's all I ever wanted to do, but I've become this girl who's seen as someone who parties, who wants to be photographed all the time, isn't focused and can't be on time. That's not true."

Is Lohan pregnant?

According to sources close to the young starlet and gossip blogs everywhere, Lindsay Lohan is purportedly 7 weeks pregnant. The 22 year-old Lohan has yet to respond to any of these claims nor issued an official statement. MTV UK also reported that Lohan is unsure of who the father is.

The Mean Girls star has alledgly slept with a number of men following her split from girlfriend Samantha Ronson, and apparently doesn’t know who the child’s father is. “I swear she’s carrying,” a source said.

“She’s going through big emotional turmoil. She’s not sure if she’ll have it or go through with an abortion that she booked to have in the next few days. “Saddest part is she has no idea who the father is. She must have slept with more than two dozen men in the past couple of months.”

In a recent interview with Closer Magazine, Lohan has said she wants to focus more on her movie career and shed her paparazzi party life image. “When I was a kid, I thought movie stars were people who wanted to act in great movies- It’s all I ever wanted to do. I didn’t get into this business to be a celebrity - I’ve been a target for a long time.”

The actress - whose erratic behaviour since splitting from Samantha Ronson has caused concern - hopes to start a new life in the UK as she feels she won't be under as much scrutiny.

She said: "I like London, people aren't as judgemental. It's more about the fashion or music industry, not about movies and movie stars. It's a different scene.

"I want to be on my own for a while. I need to care about myself now. I didn't get into this business to be a celebrity. I've been a target for a long time."

The 'Mean Girls' star has recently been pictured looking worryingly thin but insists she doesn't have a problem with food or her weight.

She added: "I like the way I look. I'm not starving myself, contrary to popular belief. I'm criticised when I'm too thin or too heavy."

Lindsay is tired of the way she has been portrayed and feels her personal life comes under so much attention it has begun to affect her film career.

She added to Britain's Closer magazine: "When I was a kid, I thought movie stars were people who wanted to act in great movies. It's all I ever wanted to do, but I've become this girl who's seen as someone who parties, who wants to be photographed all the time, isn't focused and can't be on time. That's not true. There are other actresses my age, like Scarlett Johansson, and I don't get the same opportunities."

The 22-year-old actress - who romanced the 37-year-old actor when they were filming 2007 movie 'Chapter 27' - got close to Jared at New York's Roosevelt hotel during a party thrown by Nylon magazine and MySpace's Young Hollywood on Monday night (04.05.09).

A source told E!: "Jared came over to Lindsay's table to get her, and then they walked into the MTV suite together.

"Inside the private suite, Jared pinned Lindsay against the wall and they looked super-flirty. He was whispering in her ear, and their bodies were close together."

The pair reportedly spent around 20 minutes alone together.

Lindsay - who recently split from her girlfriend DJ Samantha Ronson - has denied claims she was flirting with Jared during the evening.

Meanwhile, Lindsay has rubbished claims she is too thin, insisting she has a healthy and balanced diet.

She said: "I've been eating enough."

The star revealed she used her recent Hawaiian holiday to bond with her family, adding they have helped her deal with the break-up from Samantha.

She said: "We're a tight family. We've been through a lot so we take care of each other. We went hiking and everything, so it was really good."

Lindsay Lohan didn't realise she had split from girlfriend Samantha Ronson for a week.

The 'Mean Girls' actress - whose tumultuous romance with the 31-year-old DJ ended earlier this month - admits it took her several days to understand her relationship had broken down.

Asked if there is anything more difficult than playing out the end of a relationship in the public eye, Lindsay replied: "When you don't know you're breaking up. Really weird.

"I had no idea what was going on. I just hadn't seen her in like a week. She like, disappeared."

Despite her initial shock Lindsay claims she has now come to terms with the break-up, but refuses to rule out reuniting with Samantha.

She told US TV talk show host Ellen DeGeneres: "When people are together so much it gets really difficult and you forget who you are because you're more concerned about being with the other person, I think it's been really good for me. I thought it would be so much harder and it hasn't been. I've had great people surrounding me.

"I really care about Samantha and we'll see what happens. Maybe when we're fully in the right place. And I love her."

Lindsay also rubbished claims Samantha ended their affair because she cheated on the DJ, insisting she does not believe in infidelity.

The 22-year-old star is now planning to focus on her acting career and already has plans to star in a new movie.

She explained: "I feel like I want to get my career back in shape. There are some shows I'm producing that I'm really excited about. I'm doing a movie in October."

The 'Mean Girls' actress attended the grand opening of burlesque production 'Peepshow' - starring Mel B - and met the topless show's director Jerry Mitchell on Saturday (18.04.09).

It is believed Lindsay is keen to take over from Mel's co-star Kelly Monaco in a bid to resurrect her fading acting career.

A source told Fox News: "Lindsay is in official negotiations to take over from Monaco who wants to move on and get back to work on 'General Hospital'. Mel B reportedly intends to stay on once her three-month contract is finished.

"People forget that Lindsay is a triple threat - she can act and sing and dance. She feels that this would really revitalise her career."

Lindsay was overheard telling Mel - who appears in a series of ultra-revealing outfits - she loves the adult show, and reportedly confided to friends: "If they make me an offer, and the money's right, I'll do it."

If the 22-year-old actress does join the cast, it is believed she will play Bo Peep - a timid girl who is transformed into a confident, sexy woman by Peep Diva, played by Mel.

However, she is not the only star being considered for 'Peepshow'.

The source added: "The producers are very interested in Lindsay and would be more than happy to take the risk of having the troubled star come on board. But it's a toss between Lohan, Hugh Hefner's ex-girlfriend Holly Madison and Brooke Burke for the racy role."

Lindsay Lohan has poked fun at her tumultuous love life in a new video.

The 'Mean Girls' actress - who recently split from her DJ girlfriend Samantha Ronson - features in a spoof dating clip, where she tells viewers she is desperate to settle down.

Referring to her on/off relationship with Samantha and her conviction for driving under the influence (DUI), Lindsay says: "Hi, my name is Lindsay and I'm searching for love. I'm recently single - I think - and I'm looking for someone who I can spend the rest of my life with, or at least the rest of my probation."

The 22-year-old star goes on to make fun of the public's obsession with her private life - she has previously dated Aaron Carter and British model Calum Best and was forced to confirm her relationship with Samantha last year following months of speculation - and of her reputation as a party girl.

She says in the clip posted on comic website funnyordie.com: "I'm an actress, a singer, an entrepreneur and I have single-handedly kept 90 per cent of all gossip websites in business.

"I would define my personality as creative, I'm a bit of a night owl, I'm a workaholic, a shopaholic and according to the state of California an alcoholic as well as a threat to all security guards, if they work in hotels. To put all those rumours to rest I am not broke. I actually have over $400 in the bank."

Lindsay then refers to her split from Samantha. Days after the pair broke up it was claimed Samantha's mother and sister visited a police station to get a restraining order against Lindsay, a report Samantha has since denied.

Lindsay deadpans: "I'm looking for a compatible mate who likes a night out on the town - as long as he or she is driving of course - likes ankle-monitoring bracelets and doesn't have family members quick to issue restraining orders.

"So if you think you can handle a redhead with a little bit of sass, and by that I mean a red-head that's totally crazy - I mean don't pretend like you don't know about me, we've all read about it - will crash a few partiers, a car or two but at the end of the day I promise I never lose my Google hits - just my underwear."

Lindsay Lohan is on the prowl again.

The much-gossiped-about starlet has made a mock dating service video posted on comedy Web site FunnyOrDie.com. Lohan, 22, recently said that she and DJ Samantha Ronson are taking a "brief break."

The video, posted Tuesday, is in the guise of an eHarmony ad. Lohan says she's "recently single ... I think." She says she's looking for someone to spend the rest of her life with, "or at least the rest of my probation with."

Lohan pokes fun at herself, saying she's looking for the perfect mate who likes long walks on the beach, car chases on the Pacific Coast Highway, "antiquing and passing out in Cadillac Escalades."

A spokeswoman for FunnyOrDie, co-founded by Will Ferrell, says the video was shot last weekend.

Lindsay Lohan needs help

Lindsay Lohan needs "psychiatric help", say her friends.

The 'Mean Girls' actress has been left devastated by her split from DJ Samantha Ronson and pals fears she is on the brink of a breakdown.

A source said: "Lindsay is on hiatus with her publicist because she's not working or booking jobs. She is completely unmanageable.

"Lindsay needs to get psychiatric help. Her friends are really sad for her, but she's out of control, and now she's all alone."

Lindsay, who says she is in "hell" without Samantha, is struggling to cope with the break-up and friends have blamed her mother Dina Lohan for not offering the 22-year-old star enough support.

The source added: "Dina is begging Lindsay's friends to go there and help her. All of Lindsay's life, Dina never acted like a role model. She only ever wanted to be her friend. Lindsay keeps getting used."

Following their split last week, Samantha changed the locks on the Hollywood Hills home she shared with Lindsay and was even said to be seeking a restraining order against her, although she has denied the claims.

Lindsay has insisted the year-long romance is not over, claiming the pair are just "on a break".
