Report: Mel Gibson welcomes eighth child

The actor has reportedly welcomed a baby daughter, his first child with girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, the site reported.
The baby reportedly arrived a few weeks early from the Russian singer’s December due date.
Mel’s longtime rep had no comment on the report when reached by Access Hollywood.
Mel has seven children with his estranged wife, Robyn, who filed for divorce in April.
Mel stepped out publicly with Oksana shortly thereafter.
He confirmed her pregnancy on “The Tonight Show” in May, explaining to then-host Jay Leno that he and Robyn had been separated for “three years.”
“I guess I’m Octo-Mel,” he joked at the time.
While RadarOnline reported Mel and Oksana as engaged, the singer said during an appearance on Britain’s “GMTV” in September that the couple had no plans to walk down the aisle.
“We have no plans whatsoever. I haven’t thought about it – we haven’t spoken about it,” she said at the time.
The new baby is the second child for Oksana, who has a 12-year-old child with former “James Bond” star Timothy Dalton.

Mel Gibson's love songs
Mel Gibson sings on his girlfriend's new album. The 'Lethal Weapon' star has swapped the big screen for a recording studio and has provided guest vocals for Russian singer Oksana Grigorieva's latest LP, 'Beautiful Heartache', and directed videos to accompany four of the tracks.
Oksana - who is pregnant with the Oscar-winning star's eighth child - said: "Mel is an incredible artist. He has a great voice. He is a visionary. He enabled me to produce this... for my music to live.
"The videos are like dramatic miniature films - a whirlpool of different, exciting, bright images." Oksana - who is signed to Mel's label Icon Records - has also lifted the lid on her relationship with the 'Braveheart' actor and is adamant she wasn't responsible for the end of his marriage to wife Robyn. She said: "It's not like I was planning to meet Mel specifically.
Life happens. There was a working relationship for a long time. "I thought he was happily married until I was reassured otherwise. And then it happened. "We live in the same city. I don't control who I meet. I meet many people in art and music and film, but love is inexplicable."
Mel's split from Robyn - mother of his seven children - was announced in April and just weeks later he went public with his relationship with Oksana before revealing she was pregnant

Mel Gibson says girlfriend is pregnant
Actor Mel Gibson, who is going through a divorce from his wife of 28 years, said on Monday his Russian girlfriend is expecting their baby."This is true," Gibson said during an appearance on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" after the host asked him to confirm speculation that musician Oksana Grigorieva was pregnant.
Gibson, 53, who already has seven children, gave away few details, replying jokingly, "A human being, I think," when Leno asked about the baby's gender.
Celebrity gossip websites said the baby was due in the autumn.
Gibson appeared to rule out any marriage plans, saying, "Who would do it twice?"
Gibson's wife, Robyn, filed for divorce last month, citing irreconcilable differences with the "Lethal Weapon" star.
Gibson, dressed in blue jeans, blue blazer and white dress shirt, appeared philosophical about the divorce, saying, "I did a pretty good hatchet job on my marriage."
He said he and his wife split up three years ago, shortly after he was arrested in Malibu for drunken driving and launched into an alcohol-fueled tirade against Jews.
He apologized and sought treatment for alcoholism.
Gibson told Leno he met Grigorieva, 39, in 2008 after the singer/pianist had been signed to his Icon Records label. They appeared in public together a month ago at a Los Angeles industry screening of "X-Men Wolverine: Origins."
Gibson was raised in Australia and was one of the highest- paid and most popular actors in the world in the 1990s, winning best-director and best-picture Oscars for his 1995 movie "Braveheart."

Mel Gibson's wife of 28 yearsfiles for divorce in LA
In this Dec. 10, 2008 file photo, actor Mel Gibson attends the 9th Annual Global Green Design Awards in New York. Mel Gibson's wife of 28 years filed for divorce Monday, citing irreconcilable differences.
Robyn Gibson filed the petition, which offers no details of the breakup, in Los Angeles Superior Court.
The couple have seven children, but only one under 18. Robyn Gibson has requested joint custody of their son who turns 10 on Tuesday.
Details of how the couple's assets will be divided were not spelled out in the court filings. Robyn Gibson is seeking jewelry and earnings and assets she accrued after the couple separated, and a share of the money and assets Gibson, 53, has earned during his nearly three decades as a Hollywood hitmaker.
She wants the actor-director to pay spousal support and her attorney's fees.
Mel Gibson filed a response to the divorce within four hours of his wife's filing, stating that the couple separated in late August 2006. He does not want to pay Robyn Gibson spousal support and is seeking that attorneys' fees be paid out of the couple's joint property, the documents show.
His divorce was first reported by celebrity gossip site TMZ, which made a splash for its reporting of the actor's anti-Semitic slurs uttered during a drunken driving arrest in July 2006.
The Gibsons released a joint statement Monday, seeking privacy.
"Throughout our marriage and separation we have always strived to maintain the privacy and integrity of our family and will continue to do so," the statement read.
The couple were married in June 1980, court records show.
"Mad Max" in 1979 brought Gibson his first international attention, closely followed by the critically acclaimed "Gallipoli" and the Mad Max sequel "The Road Warrior."
Gibson has since gone on to make a mix of crowd-pleasing shoot-'em-ups such as the "Lethal Weapon" franchise, and has established himself as a director. 1995's "Braveheart" earned Gibson two Oscars for best picture and best director. He also produced and directed the blockbuster "The Passion of the Christ."
Gibson pleaded no contest to the July 2006 drunken driving charge later that year and was given three years' probation.
Since then, he has hosted Britney Spears at his home in Costa Rica, and continued his acting career. He stars in "Edge of Darkness," scheduled for release later this year.
