"Sex" star Kim Cattrall joins Canadian cartoon

"Sex and the City" co-star Kim Cattrall has joined the voice cast of the Canadian cartoon satire "Producing Parker," which will premiere on Canada's E! network next year.

Kim Cattrall arrives during the "Sex And The City" movie premiere at Radio City Music Hall in New York May 27, 2008.

British beauty Billie Piper is Showtime's Belle de Jour

On an early summer evening, Billie Piper is sitting in the back garden of a pub near her country home.

She's talking about sex and a city girl — the London-based professional escort Belle, whom she portrays in the Showtime series "Secret Diary of a Call Girl," premiering 10:30 p.m. EDT June 16.

In this image released by Showtime, Billie Piper is shown as Belle in the controversial Showtime series 'Secret Diary of a Call Girl,' which premieres Monday, June 16, at 10:30 p.m. EDT

"I was thinking it was quite racy for America," says Piper as she ponders just how the series will come across in the U.S.

In the United Kingdom, it aired last September and was blasted in the media for glamorizing prostitution.

"I thought it was a side to prostitution that we are not normally exposed to, and I thought there was a story worth telling there," Piper says in defense. "I kind of knew it was going to cause a bit of an uproar, especially because I was playing the part. People are always so used to me doing children's shows or family drama."

As a teenager, Piper became a star in England in 1998 with the chart-topping pop song "Because We Want To." And she has been a popular subject for the British tabloid press.

Bra-less Pammie tells Baywatch secret

Pamela Anderson landed her role in Baywatch because she didn't wear a bra to her audition.

The 40-year-old beauty - who recently rekindled her relationship with ex-husband Tommy Lee - insists her breasts were the secret to her success on the hit US TV show.

Actress Pamela Anderson smiles during a news conference at Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, ahead of a charity auction to support Make-A-Wish foundation, May 30, 2008. The auction will take place on May 31 at the Emirates Palace, and the highest bidder wins a private dinner with Anderson.

She told Justin Lee Collins and Alan Carr while co-hosting UK talk show The Sunday Night project: "I didn't wear a bra to the audition. It's actually true. You had to have a swim test and I floated.

"You had to run in slow motion and swim in slow motion and then smile. I know how to work a defibrillator!"

Pamela also said she has kept the famous red swimsuit from the programme to wear in the bedroom.

She added: "I have one swimsuit left. I wear it. I use it for my boyfriend and stuff. In the shower and then I run in slow motion and then give my friends mouth to mouth resuscitation!

"I do miss it - it's the best job in the world."

She said: "I loved having babies. They were amazing kids and we were dressing up in wellington boots and holding the kids and I think it is part of being a woman to feel those feelings. I think we got a bit broody, yes! It didn't last though." Sienna's co-star Keira Knightley - who plays Dylan's former lover Vera Phillips in the movie - added she was impressed with the baby she starred with.

Keira told BANG Showbiz: "I had an amazing baby, he should win the baby Oscar! He would start improvising in scenes - they were incredible kids. But we were quite happy to give them back at the end of the day."

In the print advertisement for Believe perfume, a svelte Spears is shown plugging her latest fragrance.

The extreme-svelte picture has triggered talks that the company has super-imposed the singer's face on the body of another model, according to the New York Post.

However, the brand has insisted that it is indeed Spears' body.

"The only person in the national print ad for Britney's Believe fragrance is Britney Spears," Contactmusic quoted the company, as saying.

Jessica Simpson's PETA problems

Jessica Simpson has been blasted by PETA after wearing a T-shirt bearing the slogan 'Real Girls Eat Meat'. The blonde beauty - who famously questioned why tuna was nicknamed 'chicken of the sea' on her reality TV show 'Newlyweds' - has come under fire from the animal rights group, who have urged her to become a vegetarian to increase her brain power.

A spokesperson for PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) said: "Jessica Simpson's meaty wardrobe malfunction makes us thankful that no one is looking to her for food advice. Chicken of the sea anyone? The woman who thought that Buffalo 'Wings' came from buffalos would benefit from some good veggie brain food." However, it has been claimed Jessica wore the T-shirt to poke fun at her boyfriend Tony Romo's ex-girlfriend Carrie Underwood, who has twice been named the World's Sexiest Vegetarian by PETA.

A source said: "Jessica is sick of hearing about how Tony still has feelings for Carrie. She's obviously trying to poke fun at her rival and let her know who really has Tony's heart." Carrie is such a strong believer in vegetarianism she once said: "If you told me I could never sing again, I'd say that was horrible, but it's not my life. If you told me I could never be around animals again, I would just die."
