Taylor Swift's boyfriend meets mom

Taylor Swift has introduced her "amazing" new boyfriend Taylor Lautner to her mother.

The 19-year-old singer - who has reportedly been dating the 17-year-old actor after they met on set of their romantic comedy 'Valentine's Day' - took the 'Twilight' hunk out for dinner with her mom Andrea Swift on Monday night, sparking rumours their relationship is getting serious.

She said: "Are we an item? I don't know. He's an amazing guy and we're really close. And, yep, we're in a movie together and I'm really excited about seeing it."

The songstress is so desperate to see herself looking loved-up with Taylor on the big screen, she has begged movie bosses to let them watch the an advanced version of the film in private.

She explained to CMT Radio host Cody Alan: "I haven't seen 'Valentine's Day' at all. So hopefully we'll get to do a private screening because we both wanna see it so bad 'cause our scene was so much fun to do."

The blonde songstress recently admitted she was keen to start dating again following her split from Jonas Brothers singer Joe Jonas last October.

Taylor and Taylor were spotted together at a Los Angeles Kings hockey game last weekend.

She recently admitted: "I love him, he's so cute."

'Valentine's Day' is due for release next year.

Scarlett Johansson heading for Broadway

Scarlett Johansson is set to make her Broadway debut as a 17-year-old girl.

Scarlett will play the role of Catherine, Liev's character Eddie's niece.

In the play, longshoreman Eddie becomes increasingly obsessed with orphaned Catherine, who he is raising, but she ends up falling for another man sending him on a path of self-destruction.

Scarlett - who is widely considered to be one of Hollywood's most beautiful actresses - recently revealed the sex appeal she brings to her roles comes naturally.

The 'Iron Man 2' star said: "I don't think about being sexy or being seductive. What you don't want to see is somebody trying to be sexy. That's the most unsexy thing."

Despite having confidence in her natural sexuality, Scarlett is still shocked every time she lands a role.

She added: "It always shocks me, when I get hired for anything. As soon as one project ends you never think you will get the chance again."

'Scream' star Liev is an accomplished stage actor and won a Tony Award for his performance in a 2005 revival of the play 'Glengarry Glen Ross'.

Jennifer Connelly to quit acting?

'Creation' actress Jennifer Connelly says she may not do another film because family are her main priority.

Jennifer Connelly may never work again.

The 'A Beautiful Mind' actress - who raises sons Kai, 12, and Stellan, six, with husband Paul Bettany - admits she has no projects lined up for when she finishes filming 'What's Wrong With Virginia?'.

She said: "The biggest thing for me is wanting my kids to grow up safely and have happy lives. To me that's enough.

"The family is the most important thing to me. I'm very blessed. I have gorgeous, healthy, funny kids and a good husband.

"Becoming a mother has made all the difference in terms of learning to take responsibility for my life. Parenthood changed the way I do everything."

While both Jennifer and Paul have carved out successful acting careers, neither Kai - whose father is photographer David Dugan - nor Stellan want to follow in their footsteps.

She added to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Stellan was saying for a while that he want to be an actor.

"But we just went on holiday where we did a lot of snorkelling and now he's saying he wants to be a marine biologist. Weirdly, at exactly the same age, Kai said he wanted to be a marine biologist too."

US man who sought out Miley Cyrus gets plea deal

A 53-year-old man pleaded guilty Friday to resisting police outside the set of a Miley Cyrus movie on the Georgia coast after prosecutors dropped charges that he tried to stalk the teen pop star.

Mark McLeod, who told police he was engaged to marry the 16-year-old "Hannah Montana" star, was sentenced by a State Court judge to two years probation and was ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation. He was also banished from Savannah and surrounding Chatham County and ordered to stay away from Cyrus and her family, AP reports.

District Attorney Larry Chisolm issued a statement saying prosecutors dropped attempted stalking charges against McLeod because they lacked evidence that his "attempt to reach or follow Miley Cyrus was different than the hundreds of other fans."

McLeod of Appling, Ga., had been jailed since Aug. 4. Police said he twice came to Tybee Island, 12 miles east of Savannah, looking for Cyrus over the summer as the she filmed the Walt Disney Pictures movie "The Last Song."

Prosecutors moved quickly to resolve the case after a grand jury declined to indict McLeod on felony charges Wednesday. He pleaded guilty to misdemeanors of obstruction of a police officer and disorderly conduct. A third misdemeanor, attempted stalking, was dropped.

McLeod's attorney, James Byrne, said he was pleased the unemployed assistant plumber would finally get help for any mental problems.

"I guess he's just like an avid fan and obviously there's some delusion going on, but that's not against the law," Byrne said. "The evidence didn't show that he ever had any intention of harming (Cyrus) or her family."

Cyrus' publicist, Meghan Prophet, declined to comment on the case Friday.

Wearing shackles and an inmate jumpsuit, McLeod wasn't asked about Cyrus in court Friday. He appeared confused at times, particularly when the judge told him he couldn't use a computer during his probation.

"They could take the hard drive out," said McLeod, whose computer was seized from his home by sheriff's deputies in August. "I do use that."

McLeod was first arrested in June after police said he made inappropriate comments to young girls gathered in hopes of glimpsing Cyrus during filming. A police report said McLeod told officers he was there "to be with Miley" and tried to head butt one of them as they tried to remove him in handcuffs from the beach.

Officer Warren Millikan wrote in his report that McLeod claimed he'd sent Cyrus diamond rings and other gifts. He said she sent him "secret messages" through her TV show.

McLeod was initially released from jail but was arrested a second time after returning to Tybee Island in August. Police said security officers for Walt Disney Pictures spotted him asking residents living near the movie set if they knew where he could find Cyrus.
