The 22-year-old actress - who has sported a variety of styles since shooting to fame in 2007's 'St. Trinian's' - insists her ever-changing locks provide her with the perfect disguise when in public.
She said: "I never get recognised. I think it's because my hair keeps changing all the time. People never know it's me!
"But, to be honest, I'm not really that well known, I haven't had that many films actually out yet."
Gemma - who starred as a Bond girl in last year's 007 adventure 'Quantum of Solace' - is currently shooting 'Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time' alongside Jake Gyllenhaal which should see her public profile skyrocket.
However, the British beauty doesn't want to get too famous, because she likes to be outrageous in her private life.
She said: "I worry about the lack of privacy if you get too famous. I like to be quite wild!"
