Hollywood celebrities pledge service to Obama on MySpace

One day before Barack Obama is sworn in as the 44th president of the United States, a host of Hollywood celebrities Monday made pledges of service to the nation in honor of the incoming president on the popular social networking website MySpace.

The celebrities, mostly actors and actresses, revealed their plans to take actions for the change of the United States motivated by Obama's presidential campaign in short video clips directed by actresses Demi Moore.

The videos convey personal, touching and humorous ways in which the entertainment industry plans to give back.

"We are honored to be working with MySpace to rally the entertainment industry to answer President-elect Barack Obama's call to service," said Ashton Kutcher, Moore's husband.

Actors Ashton Kutcher (L) and Demi Moore introduce their Presidential Pledge video at ServiceNation's New Era of Service breakfast, part of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service, in Washington January 19, 2009 leading up to the inauguration of U.S. President-elect Barack Obama.
