Gillian Chung attends a press conference for her theatrical debut 'I Ought to Be in Pictures'. Her seasoned co-stars, Hong Kong stage actors Chen Shuyi and Shaw Mei Kwan, join her at the event Tuesday, June 23, 2009.Gillian Chung is to team up with two prominent Hong Kong stage actors Chen Shuyi and Shaw Mei Kwan in a stage drama "I Ought to Be in Pictures", which starts performances in late August.
In the drama, Gillian Chung plays the daughter of Chen Shuyi, while Shaw Mei Kwan is Chen's girlfriend.
As Chung's theatrical debut, she admitted feeling pressure because, as a stage performance, it allows no chance to start over once the drama begins.
However, she says she is quite pleased to collaborate with the two other actors and wishes to learn more from them.
Chung seems to be moving on since her return to the public eye after a nude photo scandal with Edison Chen.
She now takes time to work on her body and has signed a new contract with a heavy paycheck to be a spokesmodel for an undisclosed product.
