The annual Golden Horse Awards, by far the biggest awards event in Chinese cinema, is set to descend upon us again. Come Saturday, the best and brightest actors and film-makers from Hong Kong, Taiwan and mainland China will be honoured at a gala ceremony in Taiwan's central Taichung city.
