Charlotte Church's family have reportedly banned her from getting married on an Caribbean island.
The Welsh chat show host and singer got engaged to rugby player boyfriend Gavin Henson in February, and said she was considering getting married this summer on an island the couple have previously visited - but her family are said to be against the idea as her grandmother may be too sick to travel.
A close friend told Reveal magazine: "Her grandmother has been ill and she would kill Charlotte if they got married abroad without her there.
"Charlotte is a Catholic and her family would love her to have a catholic wedding in the church where she was christened."
24-year-old Charlotte - who has two children with Gavin - Ruby, two, and 15-month-old Dexter - was said to be planning to head to Paradise Island in the Bahamas with around 100 guests, but her friend thinks she is more likely to make the wedding a family affair, held where she grew up.
The source added: "Charlotte is very traditional and, like the christenings of her children they will have a reception in a marquee in the garden of their home in Wales and follow it with an exotic honeymoon."
Charlotte has previously said she doesn't have expensive taste and puts her family bonds ahead of all else.
She said: "I could live without being wealthy. I know about love, family, relationships and making sure I look after the people I love."
