Taylor Momsen isn't close to her 'Gossip Girl' co-stars.
The 16-year-old actress says she and her castmates - who include Leighton Meester and Chace Crawford - have a good on-set relationship, but do not socialise outside of work hours.
She said: "I'm not really close with my cast. We're all cordial and nice to each other, but we're not really friends outside of the set."
The teenage star, who also sings in band The Pretty Reckless, also revealed she prefers music to acting because it's "personal".
She said: "I've been acting since I was two. I don't dislike it by any means, but it's a job to me. It can never be as personal as music, because you're playing a character and saying someone else's words. Music is who I am."
Taylor also claims she doesn't like performing in restrictive clothing, and has a passion for tights.
She revealed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly: "I don't really like pants, man. I like tights. I'm not really a pants person. I choose not to wear pants."
Although Taylor is happy to have a more professional relationship with her 'Gossip Girl' co-stars, Chace is keen to have fun with them.
The 24-year-old actor recently revealed he likes to go out with the rest of the cast and in particular go to bars and sing karaoke.
He said: ""It's not as if we have time to always get in a group a lot of the time but when we do have a chance we'll all go to karaoke, or we'll go have dinner, just stuff like that.
"Taylor is very Courtney Love actually. She's phenomenal, it's insane."
